This review is long overdue in my third trimester. I saw Amanda in my second trimester as a very active pregnant woman but not without the aches and pains that come with it. I asked her if I could be treated more like an athlete and have her work on running specific issues around my hips that require more pressure than some prenatal massage places would apply. Not only is Amanda a runner but as a new mother herself she understood my issues and resolved them. I walked out walking on clouds and was able to resume running until now at 35 weeks. I wish Amanda worked in Sydney or had been in New York where I spent my first pregnancy because practitioners like her a very hard to come by! Pregnant or not, I will be back next time we visit Adelaide.

Rachel has only been with Glide Massage for a year, and I choose to go to her after my lifelong Massage guy retired. SHE IS AMAZING. She helped my hip problem with a technique and massage that I have never seen, and released my shoulder blade tension, especially on the side that I had my accident from. She is also a natural healer (that is my own evaluation and I imagine eventually she will be doing Reiki) with the healing hands energy- so was like getting massage and Reiki at the same time. Her personality is lovely, she is a delight, just a beautiful person. I feel that after I let this information out, she is going to be hard to get booking, but I cannot think of myself. Give her a go and you will not be disappointed.

I have been seeing Amanda for remedial massages for a few years now. She is very methodical in her work, moving from one section of my body to the next to relieve tightness and tension. When I first saw Amanda, I had a stiff neck and overtime she worked to relieve the stiffness and it’s been good ever since. As a runner I have found that a monthly remedial massage from Amanda has been good for my body in avoiding muscle tightness and injuries and increasing my mobility. I’ve had no injuries since seeing her. I highly recommend Amanda as she’s done a great job on my body. She is welcoming and asks about any problem areas before starting the massage (at your preferred tension). By the time she has finished the massage my body is in good shape, I’m relaxed and looking forward to the next one. Amanda is an excellent masseuse.

She always asks about any problem areas that require more attention and will adjust the pressure to your liking.

I also enjoy talking her ears off, which she always makes me feel comfortable doing, but if you just want to lie there and relax that’s no problem either.

I look forward to my massage every 6 weeks. I first had Amanda as my massage therapist when she opened the business. She did a fantastic job and the introduction of the hot rocks took the process up one notch further in terms of relaxing my muscles even more to make the whole massage process more effective and relaxing! Amanda is an absolute gem! She is a friendly, experienced & professional massage therapist that has your best interests in relieving pain & managing areas of concern going forward. Offering a range of massage styles such as hot stone, remedial, relaxation, deep tissue & pregnancy- she is able to adjust depending on your needs at the time. It has certainly helped me manage fluid & joint pain following surgery & an ankle injury. I treat myself to the hot stones on occasion & honestly dream of my next appointment!
