Thank you so much to the lovely vet (whose name I can't recall, apologies!!) who attended to our dog Disco overnight. We were very impressed with her thorough approach, her reassurance and the education she gave us regarding reverse sneezing. This vet has a beautiful bedside manner especially for us worried owners. The vet nurse was most reassuring and kind, too. Thank you all for your compassionate care. Karen, Tom and Disco 🐶.

We attended emergency last night after going to our normal vet who couldn’t stitch our dog up until Monday. I had been stressing all day so decided to take her in to get it fixed up at emergency. The vet we had was amazing she made me feel at ease as I knew she knew exactly what needed to be done and explained in great detail everything. I felt confident leaving my dog with them and she was in safe hands, I was happy they where going to do a light sedation& local instead of a full as she is getting older as our normal vet didn’t mention that as an option. Everyone talks about pricing but the price we paid compared to what we were quoted at our normal vet was very reasonable and I feel so much better knowing she is now all stitched up sooner rather than later, I felt if we left it another day it may of been even harder to get it stitched up so I’m glad I took her in.
Thank you to all the vets and nurses for taking such good care of our beautiful girl.

We lost our boy Tully on Monday, the compassion and respect shown to us and our boy was amazing. We were a mess but the vet stayed with us and let us say goodbye. We’re still devastated but knowing he was taken care of right until the end gives us a sense of peace. Thank you for your kindness <3

Thank you to all the wonderful staff for looking after us. Kelly went above and beyond for our family when we had to put our beautiful Millie to sleep. I can’t imagine this job is easy, but everyone’s care and compassion towards our family was very appreciated. 💜💜💜

The staff are wonderful and always helpful. My only wish was that they'd join the "Gap Pay" system for pet insurance so you only had to pay the gap after a 5 min wait after claiming. This scheme has been in operation now for several years and there is really no excuse for not being part of it now. A vast majority of vets in Geelong are taking part on Gap Pay system and it's maybe time to ease the financial stress of people with sick animals and insurance so they don't have to come up with the full bill up front. Please look into Gay Pay - on checking, about 90% of Geelong Vets now do this. I know Gap Pay doesn't work overnights but at least it would help some people. Thanks for looking after Charlie my Labrador!

If I had my chance again, I would take my dog absolutely anywhere else other than this clinic. My heart aches knowing I left my dog in these peoples 'care," and he passed away in this disgusting "hospital."

Absolutely deceived by these people who play on emotions and pretend to have your pets' best interest at heart when, in fact, all they care about is making as much money off you as possible.

Presented my dog here after he was bitten by a snake, and he was already partially paralysed as it had been over 8 hours since the bite. The two options we were given were anti-venom at a cost of between $3000-$5000 or euthanasia. We asked to take him home, in which we were refused.

After the vet could see I was visibly upset and having a panic attack, she "kindly" offered another solution where they would monitor my dog until 9pm and provide him with pain relief, in which we could then make a decision on whether we wanted to proceed with euthanasia.

When I went back in a few hours later and saw my dog (he was now in a much worse state than when we first got there), she brought up the anti-venom again. When I asked for a quote for one dose, the price was now $1175.

I can not stress how disgusting this practice is. They had a chance to save my dog when he was first presented and still partially mobile and tried to milk absolutely every cent they could out of me with an abhorrent price. When they knew my dog had no chance of surviving, they then gave me the actual price, knowing I would pay as it was significantly more reasonable. He didn't survive. I'd love to understand how the quote changed from up to $5,000 to $1,200? No doubt in my mind, they tried to make as much money as they could off me in the meantime.

My dog could still be alive and here with me if it wasn't for the disgusting, greedy nature of this "hospital." This was literally a matter of life or death, and they absolutely tried to make as much money off us as possible rather than caring for my dog. I spend every single minute I'm wondering what could have been and if my dog would still be alive if they had actually given me proper information and costing from the beginning.

I couldn't take my dog home because they had a "duty of care," but all they did was rort me of whatever money they could. There is no duty of care here. You do not care for the animals presented here, only money.

On top of this, I was charged over $600 more than quoted even though my dog passed away hours before the time we paid for them to monitor him until. We are awaiting a response via email for a refund and will no doubt present our case to the Vet Practitioners Registration Board in the hopes no one else will have to deal with the pain my family and I are dealing with after having lost our beautiful dog here.

Please, if you have any other option at all, take your pets elsewhere. I wish I had my time again and I could take my dog as far away as I could from here. Don't be deceived by their apparent kindness. All they care about is taking every dollar they can from you.

Absolutely beautiful and caring people. Our beautiful girl was having seizures. We travelled all the way from Ballarat, as there was no vet open after-hours. They were so caring. Unfortunately our beautiful girl received her wings last night. I couldn't recommend them more. Thank you

I very much appreciate the hard work that the vets do. However, I feel that they did not investigate my dog's condition as thoroughly as they could have, especially since she had internal bleeding. She was discharged early this morning after being provided anti-nausea medication. She died several hours later. I just wonder if more could have been done to help prevent her death. My local vet seemed to have done more for her in her final moments. Some other animal patients who were also in poor condition were not seen at all; one was in a lot of pain but provided no relief. I just hope that the vet team benefits from learning of the outcome that I have experienced and can work on improving their service.
