My wife has been going to this medical centre for over 20 years and myself 8-10 years. We have always had nothing but the best possible attention from the doctors for all our medical problems in that time. Together with the professional and courteous administration led by Rebecca we will never need to look elsewhere. Thanks to everyone that works there.

Rebecca taking over as Practice Manager was the best thing to happen to this clinic. Service has improved immensely and everything runs so smoothly now. They go above and beyond for their regulars too, which is so helpful when you’re in a medical bind.

Dr Melissa is an amazing Doctor, understanding, supportive and delivers excellent care to both me and all my children. Dr David has also been just wonderful to my son and daughter when we have seen him. Very caring, and supportive of my daughter especially. Reception staff are always happy to accommodate, friendly and caring. Would recommend this clinic to anyone. Thanks to all for always looking after my family. ❤️

Have been going here for 9 years. Can highly recommend all of the GPs. They are caring and competent. They don’t just proscribe medication without throughly doing a checkup. We bring our small children here and they have been very well cared for by staff, nurses and Dr’s. Our favourite Dr is Jacob. Our whole family has been treated and cared for by this wonderful man we will not go anywhere else 🥰🥰🥰🥰

OMG where do I start?
The doctors are amazing.
The Admin staff are incredible: ALWAYS do their best to accommodate whatever needs my family has.
I cannot speak highly enough of Bec, Cheryl, Lesley and all the other staff.
They make you feel welcome, and actually LISTEN to what you have to chat about, making you feel valued and cared about on a personal level.
Those poor girls/ladies take 100’s of calls and have much expected of them. Many patients do not understand the pressures they are under.
They are Human Beings with a sometimes overwhelming amount of tasks to deal with.
They are always bending over backwards to do what they can to help you.
We all have bad days and instead of crucifying others, it does not hurt to “check in” with our Medical Teams and ask “are you ok?” Especially if notice something is maybe a bit different.
The whole practice is complemented with lovely nurse and pathology staff.
I have recommended so many people to go there.
The doctors don’t rush you and if you don’t like waiting for a sometimes extended period of time, you can an actually call the clinic to check on the expected wait time. Just more call a the reception staff must deal with, but they do it with warmth & friendliness.
Maybe some people should lead with a “how are you” or “is now an ok time to chat”.
I could go on and on, but I’m sure you get the picture. They are AWESOME.

Doctors are really nice, however this one receptionist REBECCA has been very rude over the phone about the cancellation of the appointment. My 8 month old has been in ED the whole day and when I called in to cancel because I was in hospital and started making me feel if I did something so unacceptable by not letting them know before. She was so rude over the phone. She is just one receptionist who is not happy with what she is doing. Please start respecting people. My whole night and day was already exhausted and after talking to such people over the phone made my day even worse.

By far the best clinic in the area but recently I came across a new doctor there called Serena Menzes, who I thought was the rudest and most abrupt doctor I have come across! I took my son who was experiencing bad abdomen pain to see a doctor. While I was hoping see one of our amazing pioneers such as Dr Dessauer or Dr Long, I got a new doctor called Serena who was the only doctor available. The appointment was 10:40am but apparently according to her watch we arrived at 10:50am. At first, the receptionist gave me a lecture for 5 minutes about how Dr Serena is so punctual and how I need to call if I'm late in the future. I took it all in and I agreed. We got called by Serena and she started talking aggressively also for about 7 minutes about the importance of punctuality. I pointed her attention that my son ( a child) was in pain but she didn't care and kept on talking aggressively about how patients should respect being on time. Unlike any other doctor I've met, she was unprofessional and really wanted to pick a fight. Very uncommon! for this awesome clinic !!! No duty of care to stop and focus on the child in pain instead . I told her that I will be talking to Dr Dessauer but she didn't care and said plz do so. There's been so many times where I waited for an additional half an hour past my appointment time to see a doctor in that clinic but when I finally saw a doctor, I always greeted them with a smile and gratitude. It says in Serena's portfile that she has a passion for paediatric health but from what I have seen today, I don't think so! I've been coming to this amazing medical centre since my teenage years. I've come across so many doctors and I've never had a negative experience like the one I had today. I feel very sad about this experience! Very disappointed, not only that's she rude but basically doesn't care!!!! That's very sad when children are involved!!! We are sorry for the 10 minutes later but you have way more to apologise for Serena. The one star is for this particular doctor not for the clinic. It's crucial that a new doctor adjust her tone to the tone and culture of the clinic she's working in.

I highly recommend Fountain Gate Medical Centre. All staff go above and beyond to care, listen and be helpful. I have had appointments with three doctors and all are exceptional. As like all doctors it can be difficult to get an appointment, so be sure to become familiar with more than one doctor so you have a back up. The doctors run pretty much on time.
Can not recommend highly enough. Thank you.
