The doctors are incredibly thorough, taking time to listen carefully to concerns and explain everything in detail. They genuinely care about their patients wellbeing, making sure no question goes unanswered. Myself and my daughters are very well looked after by Dr Sharmin. My adult son was seen by Dr S Chowdhury on Tuesday due to severe throat infection where he could hardly talk or swallow. Dr said not infected only inflamed and prescribed what another Dr referred to as children’s medication! Thursday today and he is worse than on Tuesday, no wonder. Recommendation, absolutely not!

My 12 year old daughter needed an X-ray for a suspected broken wrist. I asked the receptionist if it was possible to get the results urgently on Friday afternoon to determine if she needed to visit the fracture clinic. Unfortunately, the receptionist was unhelpful and dismissive, suggesting I make an appointment on Monday morning. The lack of empathy and understanding in a stressful situation was disappointing. I hope the practice considers providing better followup, communication and support for children needing urgent care.

Dr Sharmin is a legend. She is always kind and detailed in her assessment. Even after she gives you a care plan she encourages you to call her after 2 weeks to check in. Very thoughtful and considered in her approach.

Highly recommend. Dr Sharmin has been my doctor for a number of years and I find her to be knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. Reception staff at Five Dock Medical Centre are also really great.

The process was efficient, after walking in from the street with no appointment. I took a Covid test and waited until the result was ready, while the young lady on the desk (who was very good) organised my appointment. I saw the doctor immediately, then went to pathology for a swab, then was out well within the hour.

Absolutely shocking service by receptionist… the role of receptionist one would think is self explanatory. Receptionist was rude, condescending and totally lacked any empathy for a patient feeling ill. Was given the fifth degree on why I was there and if I should even get to see the doctor unless I was given permission by this piece of work. You are there to make appointments and help customers yes customers because once I pay you to see a doctor I’m a full fledged customer so I expect to be treated with even a little respect.

This medical Center is living in 2020 on repeat. The world has moved on and so should you.
