I've been seeing Dr Horan for about 4 years and she's always been excellent. She has a very calming manner and always takes the time to discuss things in full. I have never felt rushed.

My family have seen a few of the other doctors there as well. Everyone goes above and beyond. Sarah called to follow up on her day off; Rachel went out of her way to help us organise some imaging before we left on a flight; the nurse was prepared with bubbles to help my daughter feel better after immunisations; the receptionists are always warm and try to fit us in at short notice if needed.

I'm a bit shocked to see any negative reviews for this practice. They're the best doctors I've seen in Canberra.

I just want to thank the staff of Fisher family practice. I had my 1st Pzier jab earlier this month. I was very impressed with how organised they were in taking in patients to be vaccinated. Not to mention how friendly and helpful they all were (especially the reception staff!). When I entered the consulting room for my jab, Dr Martin gave me an opportunity to ask any questions. I hardly felt my jab once he had given it to me. You guys are all doing an awesome job and thank you again ?

I have been coming here for approximately 17 years. I have enjoyed all the doctors I’ve seen, except for one, and will continue to use them in the future.

The one thing that does annoy me is the inability for you to see your regular GP.

You spend months/years with one GP and you develop a relationship then as they establish themselves you can’t see them anymore because you can’t get in to see them. So you’re tossed to one of the new GPs who know nothing about you or your history.

That’s the one major fault. No consistency of healthcare because they make it impossible.

Some of the receptionists are a little draconian too. But 99% of them are lovely.

Several times she has called me at home to check on how I’m doing. I have multiple autoimmune conditions, and my regular contact with Kalum is an important, and positive, aspect of my life.

I just dealt with reception and Dr Catherine Horan - extremely professional, caring and accommodating to deal with a concern immediately. If they treat all their patients like that they're truly a 5* service.

The Tranter family have been attending this practice for many years and we have nothing but the highest praise for the absolute personal, caring and professional service provided, particularly by our regular GP Dr Kalum Raitnake,. This service has also been extended to us by other GPs that we have sometimes consulted with.

I am afraid, GPs and even more so, specialists, come across as if not much mattered beyond material rewards. In my 30 years in the ACT, I have yet to find a doctor, a practice where I do not feel after each visit that I am just there to add to their bottom line. It feels as though there is very little concern for and next to no interest in me as a patient. A very unsettling feeling. In this regard, Fisher family practice is no different to the few ones I have visited in Canberra.
