I would highly recommend this practice, I’ve never had to wait long. The doctors are thorough and very friendly and helpful. My doctor takes the time to listen. Talk to me and gives me options. I don’t feel like I’m being churned out within five minutes.
The receptionists are very friendly and it’s a well organised practice

Doctor very friendly and seemed interested in my problem, explained best solution, booked in for minor surgery. Have had a few minor surgeries at this practice in past, all good.

My first time at the practice. Reception staff are super friendly and helpful. They assisted me with a transfer request of all of my medical records from my previous GP practice. I booked online through the app and found the process easy.
I saw Dr Sofia Ali who is wonderful and made sure she fully understood my medical history before discussing anything new with me.
Definitely will be back.

I've been looking through reviews for Burpengary Family Practice, and there's a clear pattern—rude receptionists and doctors who lack empathy. Some of these one-star reviews go back a month, three months, a year, or even three years, yet nothing has changed. I like many other wish I could give zero stars but that's not possible.

It seems the reason is simple: people are desperate to see a doctor, and while good doctors are hard to get into, bad ones have availability. Patients go there, have a terrible experience, and decide never to return, but the clinic doesn’t care. They just keep taking people's money without improving their service.

I had a bad experience today—both with the receptionist and the doctor. The doctor practically laughed at me when I mentioned what I believed might be wrong with me. It was a female problem. No empathy whatsoever.

Will this review change anything? Probably not. And that’s the sad part. But what else can we do?

Wish I could give 0 stars! Absolutely disgusting customer service from reception team and Dr Sofia! Arrived at 2:20 for a 2:30 appt as a new patient, took 10mins to fill out paperwork, took it up to the receptionist and had to wait 5 minutes while they sat there complaining about a prior patient.. was even told “won’t be long” while she continued to complain about prior patient. Once saw by the doctor Sofia at 2:50 was greeted with “ugh almost fell asleep waiting for you guys” I explained to the Dr that we had arrived at 2:20 and finished our paperwork within 10mins and then sat waiting for reception to process it as they were too busy bitching about another patient (quite loudly for all patients in waiting room to hear) then no apology from the Dr, just proceeded appointment with attitude. Would never return to this practice even if I was desperate. If you don’t enjoy helping people/serving patients then get a new job. I’ve never been so disappointed in every direction of practice from the receptionist to the Dr.

To the person who runs or owns this practice. I find it extremely disrespectful that I have to wait 20min on a Sunday morning at 9am as the first appointment for your Doctor who can’t even turn up to work on time. I left after waiting 20min and in that time overheard your receptionist advice 2 other clients not long after my arrival that your Dr isn’t at work yet and so there may be a bit of a wait. This has not been the first time it’s happened, I’ve had to wait 45 min the time before to see a doctor when a had a set appointment. Perhaps some scheduling and basic customer service training would go a long way for your practice.
