I had a really good experience with Dr Jess today. She is not normally my Dr however she was really accommodating even though my scripts are not straight forward (being DVA). I would highly recommend her for her follow up and not just palming me off to my normal doctor who is not back till next week.

45 minutes in a waiting room, with a three month old baby…. And not even an apology from reception…
The appointment was for 10:15 am, for the Doctor to be an hour delayed that early in the day , clearly they overbooked and reception are not instructed to care about patients time extending the common decency to reschedule or inform.

The clinic ran on schedule, ladies at front desk were polite friendly and helpful, and Dr Tarn Montagu made a very positive impression during my first appointment with him.

Unlike the last 3 or 4 GP's I had seen over the last few years, Dr Tarn did not rush through my appointment in under 3 minutes and shoo me out the door as quickly as possible. Instead he spent about 30min in order to take the time to genuinely investigate the concerns. He ran through a more comprehensive history of the concern than I have had a GP do in a long time, asked plenty of relevant questions, listened attentively to responses, provided plenty of explanations as to his train of thought and regarding potential contributing factors. He did so with tact, empathy and whilst putting in some effort to build a little rapport.

I would highly recommend Dr Tarn as the impression I got from my appointment was that he is a knowledgeable, thorough and empathetic doctor with a good attitude
and a great bedside manner.

Couldn't speak highly enough of this practise, especially Dr Fiona Raciti. After seeing other health professionals with an issue to no evail my partner encouraged me to go to see Dr Raciti.
It was then addressed immediatley, followed up with results the same day and I was then refered directly to the best person I could be infront of for treatment ultimatley saving my life. I find solace in knowing I now have a GP I can trust, thanks FDP 🙂

This is an honest review.
We went there to have our visa medical.

The X-ray should be in the same location so we don’t have to drive elsewhere.

For blood tests, they mix you with other patients, so you have to wait your turn. The waiting time is excessive, and we don’t feel like we’re getting what we paid for.

Additionally, the doctors' instructions are unclear; we’re unsure whether we need to return to them or not.

I’m also guessing it took them ages to submit the results to DoHA, as the processing time for our visa was longer compared to when we did it at BUPA on Edward Street.

The service at BUPA Medical in Brisbane City, is outstanding. Everything is conveniently located there, and we feel it’s worth the waiting time. I will go there, if I can. It's worth the wait.

An outstanding service; availability, friendliness, ease of communication and professionalism are consistently excellent. I've been seen by 4 FDP doctors these past few years, all commendable. In particular I'd like to acknowledge Dr Susan Luu. Her persistence, thoroughness and prompt action are outstanding, supported by a caring, personable manner I've not experienced in a medical centre previously. Cannot recommend more highly.

This doctors practice is truely the best. I’ve gone here with both my pregnancies and Dr Allison Green was so thorough, thoughtful and caring. Recently my eldest son got RSV so we got an urgent appt with Dr Reena and we’ve received two follow up calls checking in to make sure he’s okay. All their staff really go above and beyond. We’ve since moved but still travel 45 minutes to go to this dr because they are so thorough.

Having been a patient here for almost a year now, I can safely say it is a lovely practice and they aim to deliver patient-centred care. Dr Augustine Lyu is professional, always willing to listen, thorough and truly advocates for his patients. Highly recommend him as a GP!
