They don’t ask, “Do you want fries with that?”
No upselling, like some other places I’ve been to. They have your best interest in mind. Alan is a highly competent and thorough optometrist. The front desk staff are friendly, patient and helpful with choosing frames, etc
Highly recommended!

At first, I saw good reviews online, so I took my 7 Yo son and 5 Yo daughter to take the eye test. I have a few thoughts that I would like to share with you,
1. The optometrist Allan, was rude to the children and spoke in a harsh tone which scared the children. They also charged me $40.
2. My daughter needed to make a second appointment due to astigmatism. We waited outside for 45 minutes until the store opened, But they told us that they made a duplicate appointment, so we had to make a third appointment. My husband had taken a day off to take the child there. Yes, we have to bear the consequences of their mistakes, which is a complete waste of our time and money.
3. For the third appointment, we were still waiting outside for the store to open, but the staff didn't open the door until 9:10, and they didn't feel sorry ,The staff will not give you any professional advice when choosing glasses. I wanted to help my daughter choose a lightweight glasses (etc Tomato glasses), but the staff said they didn't have her size and didn't help with the adjustment, just told me to choose another glasses, but the selection was very limited and the size was not suitable for my daughter. Since I had no experience and wanted my daughter to wear astigmatism glasses as soon as possible so that she could read well, I chose ordinary glasses.
4.When the glasses were finished, they felt very heavy, probably because of the lenses. I raised the issue but they didn't give me any response.
My daughter has been wearing glasses for a few months the lenses have a lot of scratches and the temple has become loose. The quality is very poor, it cost about $300.

I felt stupid and guilty towards my child that I should have immediately sought a better optometrist and optician to help my child during the first eye test. I just want to say that if you cannot be patient and friendly towards children, then do not provide vision test services for children, so as not to cause psychological trauma to the children. Also, if you cannot open the door on time, then postpone the opening time and find other professional service personnel.

By the way, the staff told me to use warm water and hand soap to clean glasses. I asked the OPSM service staff and found out that this is wrong. I must use cold water and neutral detergent (etc. dishwashing ). Warm water can easily make the lenses peel off, the film will affect the light refraction of the glasses.

I took my 5 YO son for his eye test and due to some reasons my 3 YO daughter was also with me. We just entered and in extremely rude way he said she needs to be quiet otherwise I have to rebook the appointment(We just entered). Your optometrist Allan should have learn some basic ethics as being a medical professional myself I find it extremely rude.
They also charged me $20 for 5YO.
Not happy at all and not going back there again.
And the prices of glasses and lenses are way too high as compared to others.

I had a fairly good experience here. The optometrist assistant was nice and helpful. The prices are also reasonable, much better than prices at other optometrists. The eye imaging machines are really interesting.
A couple of minor letdowns was the optometrist calling me boring, I feel like a less insulting word could have been used to describe my vision. Also due to personal experiences in the past, I'm not a fan of when a medical professional complains about patients doing online research. I have problems with light and focusing my eyes sometimes and thought it could be binocular vision dysfunction, I did some research and decided I needed to get a proper test.
Basically, I wasn't super comfortable with the way the optometrist spoke to me.
If it weren't for that I would have given 5 stars.

25/09/23. The staff are wonderful. I would like to remark that Allan Targett must be doing a professional job. He had to re-make three sets of lenses. He kindly suggested a second opinion. (which was free at OPSM Salisbury). Just so that can see a greater distance for safer driving. He is now making my fourth lenses. I would like to thank them for taking on such a difficult task.

Came in to the shop on Saturday, the young lady at front (no name tag) can identify her by her tattoos was so lovely, she didn't rush us out she was very thorough when answering a few questions we had. The customer service side of things can highly recommend.

Great service from the second we stepped through the doors. The girl at the front desk was friendly and patient with my kids, then Alan was so thorough, patient and kind. 10/10, would recommend.
