Our mum has been with Estia for several months now, and what we found to be very evident was how much the staff care about their residents. We now feel that our mother is in good hands and that her meals and personal needs are being met.
She has also mentioned to us how much she enjoys the activities and outings she has been attending.
The staff especially Lynette have also been extremely helpful with regards to getting our affairs in order for a smooth transition into nursing home care.
I would recommend Estia Health to anyone needing personal care in their later years of life.

Today my mum entered Estia Merrylands for her first day as a full time resident, this was an enormously emotional day.
Something I have tried to prevent myself ever doing, but it’s the best thing for my beautiful mum and it was made so much easier because of the amazing staff at Estia Merrylands, they all greeted her and told her how much they missed her and how happy they were that she was back with them.
They are truly the most wonderful staff and they always have time for their residents and their families.
Although I felt so sad at leaving her there,
I know she is safe and cared for and we are just so grateful to all the staff there.

My father-in-law has been at Estia for 4 months and we are very happy. Placing a loved one in a care facility is never easy. Upon entering Estia, you are greeted warmly with a smile, making you feel at ease. This is thanks to Lynette, the considerate and compassionate Client Services Officer, who has made this challenging transition much easier and smoother. The room we have chosen is clean, sunny, and private, with well-maintained facilities. The meals provided are high quality and offer a variety of options. The dedicated nursing, admin, kitchen, housekeeping, and leisure staff always go above and beyond to assist, no matter how challenging the situation may seem.

Mum has been at Estia now for a few months. It's never an easy transition for anyone going into Age Care. My family and I are very thankful for the time and care they have given mum. The staff's care factor is second to none and Mum has settled in nicely. The staff always encourage Mum to participate in the activities which Mum now looks forward to. Both my parents have been at Estia Merrylands for the last 9 months. The staff and management are amazing. They are very supportive, patient and careering. I have always found the facility to be clean.
Both my parents have made connections with the other residents at Estia, and it is not uncommon to see the ladies having their daily chat at reception, or seeing some of the men playing checkers in the outdoor area.
My parents celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary and the staff at Estia went above and beyond to organize a celebration with Residents, Staff and my family.
The RN's (Registered Nurses) have never missed a beat in giving my parents their daily medications. At times where my parents have been unwell, they have attended to my parents and have coordinated calling a doctor, ambulance and keeping the family informed as soon as possible.
We experienced two small covid outbreaks whilst my parents have been there (which is a reality in all care facilities). The management and staff kept residents and family informed, and they contained the infections well. During both outbreaks, my parents did not get covid. The facility has a strict screening process when visiting, and all visitors are required to present a covid test upon check-in, and also have their temperature taken when signing in.
I would frequently take my parents for outings (including to the Greystanes Hotel), and when going on day trips, the nursing staff would always ensure I took the relevant medications with me.
My parents are moving up to the Central Coast for a few months over summer. The exit process has been easy, and the Estia Management have been supportive of our decision. In the event things do not turn out as we hope, the first place our family will be looking for my parents to move to, will be back to Estia.
During my parents stay at Estia, I have recommended the facility to friends, and I would encourage anyone seeking respite to reach out to Estia. The process was pleasant and easy.

From the moment we met first Lynette and Beth at a time when we were most vulnerable having to place our loved one into care, these two remarkable people could not do enough for us. They lightened the load and settled all of us at a time that was quite traumatic and emotional. The centre is clean, the staff are friendly and kind and the food has been amazing. My husband lets me know every day how good the food is and how nice the staff are. There’s also an App that keeps you updated as to their meals, special days, covid updates and to even booking a haircut. Being cognitive, I was worried my husband would suffer from depression by the sheer fact of not being in his own home, but they are seeing to it that he is looked after mentally as well as physically which gives us piece of mind. Lynette at Estia have been amazing, they helped us get respite care funding otherwise we would have to pay over $300 a day for us to have some respite care. Lynette also helped us get funding through ACAT. The nurses were amazing caring for our mum especially since she suffers from other illness, and we’re very caring and helpful The food was great and the portion sizes were massive.

Admitted my father recently in January 2018 and have nothing but praise for the caring admin and nursing staff. They all looked after dad with so much care and dignity. On behalf of my mum, sister and brother we cannot thank Estia nursing staff at Greystanes enough for all the care, dignity, sensitivity and respect that they have demonstrated towards dad and our extended family. We would highly recommend Estia's facilities and would not hesitate using their services again. The place is friendly, attentive, clean and nothing was ever too much trouble when requested.
