I brought my son in to see Dr Cho Win with extreme thirst, weight loss, urination and extreme fatigue. She asked if I wanted a blood test and so we were told to come back the next day, no urine test or quick finger prick test offered, just to eat more fruit and vegetables. The next day we did the blood test, but he started vomiting later and upon a phone call to the Medical centre to ask if they can quickly check his blood glucose or urine, they said they didn’t have the equipment because they were on order and that they hadn’t had a nurse on staff to keep things up to date.
As a result, my son went into Diabetic Ketoacidosis that afternoon, which could easily have been picked up on if the Dr had done a simple test based on the symptoms presented. Instead, a life threatening situation had to be fixed by the excellent team at Nepean Hospital.
Please do better for the Emu Plains community and don’t justify a lack of due diligence and duty of care. Will never be back to that practice and will not recommend.

This is the 2nd time I have had an extremely awful service at this medical practice. The first time was 1 years ago when myself and my 1 year old son was seen by Dr Cho Win. She was so rude to me, made me feel so silly asking general questions as a first time mother and then began to lecture me about what I shouldn’t and shouldn’t be doing with breastfeeding.
The second time was today, unfortunately I’ve had to get important blood work done and needed the results back urgently. Yesterday Dr Win advised me to get bloods and then come back tomorrow for the results and she would fit me in. The receptionist today could not have been more rude to me even if she tried. For an old lady, I understand that patients may be less but all I was asking for was a copy of my results to take to another Gp that could fit me in today as I said, they were urgent. Not only did this receptionist make me feel so extremely embarrassed in front of other patients waiting, she then shoved a post-it-not at me with a number to call to go elsewhere. I was so extremely upset with this service today. I understand that most places require a booking, so instead of being so rude she could have just printed my results off and I would have been happy to go somewhere else.

I would not recommend this clinic to young people, first time mums or anybody that doesn’t appreciate being disrespected.

Been a patient here for 5 years, but they refused to see my child as they won't take in new patients. There was nobody in the practice when i arrived. Dispite being dissapointed i said i understood, however, When i asked " would you see a new patient if it was an emergency or if the client was dying would you let them die on the floor" the receptionist paused and then. Said, " well, that would be up to the dr to decide" Absolutly disgusting response from receptionist with the nurse present. I will be escalating this.

Unfortunately, I've had bad experiences both times I've been to this clinic to see Dr Lovely and would not recommend this clinic.
I recently went in for my first cervical screening (pap smear). Despite there being no appointments booked before mine, the doctor was running late. When she finally invited me in for the screening, she was unprepared and had to spend an additional 5-10 minutes collecting equipment, even though I had specifically booked the appointment as a pap smear.
During the screening, I was unfortunately tense and unable to relax, no matter how hard I tried, and Dr Lovely became annoyed. She angrily told me a few times to that I had to "just relax" and that "other women didn't have any problem with this". When I was unable to do so, she was angry and treated me like it was my fault. I told her multiple times that I was trying to relax and I didn't know why I was so tense, but she didn't offer any suggestions on how to relax or even explain the procedure beforehand (even though she knew it was my first time having it). I tried asking if there was any other position I could lie in or anything I could do to make my muscles relax, but she just became more and more annoyed, which only made me more and more anxious about it (and therefore tighter). Unfortunately, this is actually an issue I suffer from in other circumstances and I would have appreciated getting to discuss it with a compassionate doctor. However, after Dr Lovely became so annoyed and treated me like a naughty kid who was doing this on purpose, I felt extremely uncomfortable and anxious about the whole procedure and about the problem in general. I really feel like this was a really negative experience that caused a lot of stress and anxiety for me and I wish I'd seen a doctor who was nicer and more compassionate as I feel it would have gone very differently.

What a pleasant surprise! We were a walk-in today (on a Sunday!) and we’re greeted by a friendly receptionist who was very helpful with our situation. The waiting room was full, but clean and orderly. Not fifteen minutes later, we were seen by a wonderful doctor who took the time to listen to the issue and provide the appropriate advice. Thank you for making a bad day a little bit easier.

DR CHO WIN, Very uninterested in my health, didn’t even ask any questions besides “do you want antibiotics”. Had a Telehealth phone call appointment, the call literally went on for 53 seconds because before I could ask any questions myself, she said “I’ll write you up a script, bye” and hung up? Didn’t once tell me if she would be sending this to me or if I had to pick it up. I had to call back the receptionist and ask what I needed to do. Bless the receptionist for saying the line had been cutting out and trying to stick up for her but I could clearly hear her slamming the phone down after saying “bye”.
This is the 3rd time I have gone to see her. First time I went was to ask about birth control and she literally started googling birth control in front of me? I actually could’ve done that at home myself.

I’ve visited twice and doctors have been rude, and uninterested, no bedside manner. The last Dr I saw was Dr Win. I had strep throat and she only asked me one question- did I have a sore throat. Didn’t check my temperature, ask any other question ect. Printed out a few scripts and sent me on my way. Didn’t even give instruction on how to long to take medication for, seemed to not care that I hadn’t eaten in 3 days ect, she also Seemed annoyed at me like my questions and comments about my illness were unwelcome. I ended up seeing another dr the next day and my condition is much more serious and the delay in proper treatment may cost me. Don’t go here if you want the doctor to actually listen to you or be interested in your health.

My daughter went to see a doctor today in regards to her nearly 5 month old son who had to change formula because of nan upgrading their tins . He has not pooped properly since he started end of last week. In pain and staining, she has been giving him coloxly drops and feeding him pear puree . So made an appointment for today at this surgery which she has never been to before but thought it would be handy as close to her home. The lady Asian doctor had no clue as what to do, my daughter asked her questions which she could not answer. Luckily she works in childcare so has an idea of what she is doing. Why would you have a doctor employed who is supposed to know general things but didn't have a clue. So my daughter left feeling that that was a waste of time going there and probably will not go there again. Very disappointed.
