I have just returned from only my second visit to Emerald Lakes Medical Clinic. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. Staff were professional and made me feel welcome. I appreciated being able to get an appointment very quickly. And the doctor I saw was friendly, listened well, and was professional in all ways. Thank you all!!

This practice is welcoming, professional and discreet. From reception to the doctor the experience is pleasant. Dr V has great empathy, takes an interest and listens. One feels safe in his hands as he has demonstrated so often. I’m 76 and have never been in such good medical care. Recommend this practice to anyone.

My experience with Dr Irfan Vahidy was extremely distressing and completely unacceptable, particularly given the vulnerable stage I was in as a new mother recovering from a C-section. I brought my newborn in for a medical check-up, expecting professional care and attention for my baby. Instead, the appointment was dominated by Dr Vahidy repeatedly questioning and criticising my method of delivery.

Despite clearly explaining that I had an emergency caesarean due to medical complications, he continued to question me in a judgmental and insensitive manner. His fixation on my C-section, rather than the health of my baby — who was the actual patient — was not only inappropriate but deeply unprofessional.

His behaviour made me feel humiliated and emotionally distressed at a time when I was already struggling with postpartum recovery and depression. To make matters worse, basic hygiene standards during the appointment were not followed, raising further concerns about the overall quality of care.

I felt completely disrespected, unheard, and mistreated. No mother should have to experience this kind of judgment or disregard, especially from a medical professional. I hope the clinic seriously reviews this doctor’s conduct and ensures that no other woman is treated with such a lack of empathy or professionalism.

I was very pleased to receive prompt service. None of the clinics we usually attend could find even 5 minutes for a quick observation of my 6-year-old, who had a high fever and severe headache. Emerald Lakes accepted him as a new patient right away, even in the final minutes of service. They examined him and prescribed a much-needed course of antibiotics. Thank you.
