Fantastic service from start to finish, went in with a dislocated finger and managed to be in and out within an hour. All the staff and the lovely Kiwi doctor from Opotiki ( sorry I’m terrible with names) were amazing and so friendly.

We travelled to Emerald for my sons soccer carnival when my youngest son fell ill with a temperature and headaches. There were no open chemists so had no choice but to attend the Emerald Hospital for some children’s Panadol. We were seen within 10 minutes and the lovely nurse administered Panadol and Nurofen AND even gave us a dose Panadol to take with us in the event we needed it overnight. We received exceptional service from start to finish and I appreciate greatly the understanding of our predicament and the staff’s willingness to assist.

Small but mighty. This hospital may be small but the care you get is excellent. With limited staff as a handicap, they really do go above and beyond. Took my son in the other night. The doctor was thorough, did all the tests to rule out anything serious. They gave him appropriate pain meds to stop his severe headache and antibiotics to bring down his fever. They also were calm and comforted him as he was distressed and scared.I think there was only one or two doctors for the whole ed but they work hard, fast and are thorough. Dr Andre is a great doctor and I really appreciate the care he gave my son. As well as the hardworking, caring nurses.

Amazing experience here at emergency. The nurses, doctors, obstetrician, care was beyond my expectations! Being my first time ever in Hospital, everyone made me feel at ease and was very nice! Thank you so much for everything!

I had occasion to go to Emerald hospital Radiology department today, my first time in the hospital here.

I was pleasantly surprised by how caring and compassionate, eager to go out of their way, to assist me when I was in significant pain.

Congratulations to the Radiology department for your excellent effort towards patients and users oof the service and thanks for your care.

Absolutely 100% on service in ED and the Ward. Fabulous staff from Doctors, nurses, wardspeople, cleaners and food service. A credit to the health service.

It's actually a joke that you wait more then 3 hours do they think people just want to sit here and wait all night for them like we don't have work or a family. Update waited 5.5 hours and then just left this hospital is truly a joke 10x worse then Bundaberg.
