Called ahead and they advised to come in for travel vaccinations no appointment needed. Was advised the wait would be 30-40 mins. After 90 mins I asked how much longer and was told there was only one patient patient ahead of me. They then ushered in 4 more customers before my patience was finally exhausted. Wasted 2&1/2 hours. Then a few hours later I get a telecall from one of the doctors? Hard to get a vaccination over the phone!! Hopeless

Please be aware that some doctors here, particularly Dr. Y, have a very traditional approach to medicine.

Despite having been prescribed a beta blocker previously, I was initially denied the medication by Dr. Y. He stated that I "may die" due to my normal heart rate. This statement was not only concerning but proved to be inaccurate.

Many general practitioners offer beta blockers as a treatment for anxiety related to public speaking. However, it appears that Dr. Y may not be familiar with this common practice, which is surprising given their years of experience as a GP.

After being rejected by Dr. Y, I sought a second opinion from another GP who did prescribe the beta blocker without issue.

I would recommend patients to seek a second opinion or don't go here at all for any treatments.

Omg the receptionist is so rude I felt like an animal or a criminal the way she spoke to me simply because I asked how long is the wait Bcz I had been waiting for 2 hrs. She told me an abrupt tone go back to your sit, just sit down and few other things , didn’t even tell me how long more I should wait .The nurse also was very rude and unfriendly! Never seen this attitude in a medical environment!
This is coming from someone who’s been working in healthcare for 20 yrs.
Zero star for customer service

Such a disappointment to come to this place. Should have checked reviews before. I was only there for flu shot and reception staff said that I cannot book its only walk in. Waited for 1.45 mins and still no Dr to review. I am a nurse myself, I know it gets busy but it is completely unacceptable. If you cannot accept patients or it is long wait just tell them so, don't make them wait this long. Very disgusted with this practice. I hope the manager or owner reads this.

Very disappointed with the staff because this place is not kid friendly, even though I had good experiences before with several doctors there. I brought my son last Monday and while we were waiting I let him run around, about 40 minutes and the manager came to me and said that she hoped my son could sit still (which is he can't do that because he is very active) because there are several sick peoples she said, which is i understand that, but what can you expect from a 2 year old child? she offered me a paper for my son to draw while the coloured pencils they provided were all blunt and couldn't be used for drawing, and she asked me to let my son play outside and one of the staff would call when it was my turn, while their outdoor was very open and next to the main road and it's not a safe place to play for kids, but I didn't have a choice so I took my son out and let him run around there, the one thing I was most afraid of happened he went straight away ran and jumped onto the main road Luckily I was still able to catch up and I grabbed him in time, and I was panicked and overwhelmed by what happened but I still tried to be respectful by going inside to let the staff know that I was leaving. the medical center is a public place and a place for people got first aid from the doctor and me and my son also needed help from the doctor too. I've been to other clinics and never asked by the staff to let my son play outside while we wait because it's unfair. We all deserve to be treated with respect. I hope don't do it to other kids because to see children running and jumped onto main road are the most terrifying thing for parents. Please treat peoples with respect and fair.

The centre has a range of doctors to choose from. If you don't like one, chances are you will get along well with another one. The centre itself was recently renovated and looks presentable and clean. There is also an in-house phlebotomist (person who takes your blood samples), which is very handy. I've come here for years for various reasons and I don't have any complaints.

To reviews complaining about wait time: my mother was a medical receptionist for decades. The receptionists can try to estimate your wait time, but there is no way to know exactly how long the person before you will take. Was there a sudden emergency? Does the doctor need to do a lot of follow-up reporting? Sometimes I've had to wait two hours, other times five minutes. That's the nature of medicine.

A colleague presented to the practice this last week and shared with me what can be described as an impolite, abrupt, condescending and very unpleasant experience with Doctor Quinton. My colleague had waited over 5 hours for the appointment, (just for a referral), before being subjected to a patronising and short-tempered consultation which he had been required to go to.
I am reporting this despite my colleague not intending to report it at all. He is a hardworking, polite person treated in a trashy way. Doctor Quinton, you were at one time a Doctor with a heart for patients and the occasional comment speaks well of you.
I understand that you want to retire and are clearly demotivated by certain types of consultation and have what appears to be patient fatigue.
I care about Doctors and think you are an amazing bunch of people in what you are capable of and have to deal with.
But I want to suggest that you would do yourself and the patients the best to finish well and seek a change of heart to feel better about life and work. This may seem patronising, but that is the way you are treating patients and this will be a dose of own meds..
Suggestion - get a good life coach (Peter Cheel is the only one I know - but he is good) to be able to finish well and leave behind a positive legacy - maybe also sponsor some investment in the rooms decor and that may freshen you and your colleagues and begin an end this negative record of feedback.
It seems that some receptionists are great and some negative - please warn and then if no improvement fire your first line if they are so rude! They are your shop window and you don't want that kind of described horrible first impressions.
