I had my first minor day surgery here yesterday and couldn’t be happier with the experience.
From reception to nurses and doctors, every team member was professional, kind and attentive. I felt supported and at ease throughout the entire process.

Had a urology procedure under general anaesthesia this morning. Great experience from initial communication through to the procedure completion. All staff, anaesthesiast, surgeon and all nurses were fantastic. All took their time to explain what was going to happen and answer any questions I had. Felt safe and in good hands from the start to the cups on tea in the recovery area. Big thank you to all involved.

I had cataract surgery yesterday and was absolutely delighted by the kind, caring treatment I received from every person along my journey to surgery.

Special thanks to Sandra, Maxine, Julia, the anaesthesia ladies and the surgical team who performed my cataract surgery.
Today, post op, I am utterly delighted by the results - even at this early, post-op stage.

I had a great experience in the day surgery unit! Doctors/Surgeons and the clinical staff (nurses and other clinical professionals, don’t wanna miss them) were really great! They’re very polite, caring, attentive and always making sure that patients are comfortable. They were really nice and they’re the kind of staff you would trust yourself with as a patient who will undergo minor surgery. Shout out to them on duty during my day surgery on 27th of June (had my surgery in the afternoon). Thanks for looking after me! 🙏 God bless u all!

Very bad booking experience with the receptionist at Eastern Hospital Yarra Valley. The receptionist is not helpful and not patient, even when they were talking with the lady who’s over 35 weeks pregnant. Always very hard to get booking with them , and they want to book your 38 weeks’ pregnancy doctor appointment at Eastern Hospital Box Hill, which is 30km’s travel distance for me. When I booked my 35 weeks’ midwife appointment, the receptionist said no booking there, and booked Eastern Hospital Box Hill for me, but I called the Box Hill hospital, they can find appointment at Yarra Range. Every time you want the receptionist to help you with the booking, they are not patient, always said they are busy.
