The more people beg for help, the more they are treated like crap, like their sick, and put on higher and higher doses of medication. It's all about money and control

I would like to sincerely thank all of the wonderful, compassionate Nurses for their A Grade services and understanding. They are a truly amazing and professional team who actually care immensely for their patients, unlike any other hospital I have ever visited

Don’t care about their patients. The psychiatrists are full of shit say they will help and do referrals for other services, but never do. Nurses never take responsibility of losing patients belongings. And if you have mobility issues don’t even bother as they don’t give a shit.

An extremely disturbing and harmful experience for my teen child with what I can only describe as blatant malpractice on behalf of staff that caused significant distress and harm to my son and I by staff. Despite repeated pleas detailing obvious negative impacts of their incorrect treatment, my son was denied appropriate and essential medication, & staff we’re complicit in exposing us both to further family violence and as a direct result further exasperated my sons already precarious mental health state resulting in significant consequences. False promises not followed through were the least of our concerns and despite detailed communication provided to staff regarding cessation of their involvement and replacement treatment via the private sector where my sons medication was immediately recommended and appropriate and effective treatment engaged and sourced by myself, only then did staff maliciously see fit to report immediate concerns for my sons mental health and well being to an external government agency prompting investigation whereby they were more than surprised to learn the current private supports in place that CHYMS deliberately and knowingly failed to disclose. An extremely unpleasant and damaging involvement with CHYMS who should be conducting a. Internal review to address the significant harm they caused due to their incompetent involvement with my child and damaging and negative impact. Thanks goodness we have been able to access exemplary support and treatment in the private sector despite the high costs. I would encourage anyone in a position to do the same to save themselves from our experience and engage with private professional who are actually qualified to do perform their roles.

Got covid being stuck in an unventilated room. Also fairly sure I got food poisioning from the disposable dinners. Some nurses are spiteful, others are very professional and good at their job. Doctor was nice too. Came here for treatment but I think i'm leaving worse off all together.

Overall mid experience.

Was assaulted by a patient here, and witnessed another get brutally beaten. The nurses could do nothing but wait for security to come and help, which took well over a minute, as the only guard on duty was in another ward. It seemed severely understaffed and unsafe. Also encountered multiple rude nurses who would say a lot of ignorant and judgemental things about mental health. Do not recommend.

Help protect people from people who use technology that is used to to have people hear voices and to ensure the safety of not only those who's voices U hear but those who are being made to hear them and being kept from doing anything legal about it apparently U can involve people In illegal activities to get away with it well I didn't want myself in dealing or selling drugs to support the habits of others both for me and Rachel the mother of my son

5 admissions in 2022. The time spent here was beneficial due to the staff and the patients. I met beautiful humans that were genuinely trying their best. I felt safe with nowhere to go or be. The staff were there for me, as were a lot of the patients.
