This is a review well over due! I have been a patient of Eastbrooke Medical Centre since the doors opened. I usually see Dr Soly. When I phoned to make an appointment I was drilled about whether it be a long or standard appointment. I said all I need is 2 referrals & eye drops prescription so a standard will suffice........You know, because its a money making concern after all so to them this is imperative! 🙁
I arrived on time, walked down the corridor & sat down outside Dr Soly's office she then opened the door allowing a couple to come out. There was no one else waiting for her only me. And she definitely saw me! I understand she needs time to make notes etc but she made me sit for 40 MINUTES with absolutely NO PATIENT inside the office! Does she think she's the only one who has a job !!!!!!! This has happened several times before so what is the point of making an appointment? Once I was taken in she quibbled about the eye drops I was taking even though I told her"exactly" what they were, I had to get my husband to take a photo from home & send it through before I got the prescription & of course this was all time consuming!
When I was finished, I was, as per usual in Dr Soly robotic fashion quickly ushered out the door & she had the audacity to say & I quote " Oh & we got that all done within the 15 minute timeslot" WHAT A TOTAL DISRESPECT, WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS ? On another note, spoke to my son's partner the other day who specifically took a day off from work to go to Eastbrooke & unfortunately had a similar experience with Dr Soly making her wait 40 minutes with noone in the actual office! I'm not coming back I've moved on thankfully & anyone reading this take my advice & go somewhere else it's not worth your time , health or effort!

Daniel has been an incredible help in managing and reducing my shoulder pain and vertigo within just a few sessions. I have suffered from shoulder pain for over 10 years, and his expertise has helped me tremendously. I highly recommend his services!

I went here to see a doctor, but first you get screened by a nurse which they don't tell you. Then after some simple observations you are told to have a seat and wait for the doctor, their not sure how long the wait Time is but it shouldn't be too long or so they tell you.Time wasters. They tell you that this is their POLICY...🤔. Love the great big sign about not tolerating aggressive behaviour from patients, your reception staff should tell new patients the process so then there is no excuse for aggression from uninformed patients.Happy days.....🤗

It’s the worst medical centre. I have been to. The staff are rude and the doctors incompetent. What else can I say! They keep you waiting and don’t provide adequate care. You are rushed out the door like your a bit of a disposable object. You have to ask them what you want! They don’t even care or give you the appropriate guidance or referral. Like I said you have to ask the doctor for everything

I’ve been going there for about 13 years. It was good in the beginning.

Then they got so busy that for a couple of years my wait time was usually 45-60 minutes. That’s just one example. I could outline so many instances where the doctors or reception did not help or provide adequate service, though Magret and Carol and some of the longer standing ones are lovely the new ones are just rude.

I have seen many of the doctors there, and they are all good doctors. I had a regular one. It she left the practise. But the way things are handled there is overall quite poor. They just don’t want to help you. They are all too busy and the app time is not long enough. But making a long app is very expensive.
Basically I feel they just don’t care.

I got used to it, but I’ve moved to another place recently and it’s amazing when reception and practice managers and actually NICE to you, how much more you enjoy the experience of seeing a doctor. And the help that I need in the health journey is better there. They seem to care. I’m transferring over and won’t go back to Eastbrooke. It was a hard decision but I just had enough. The practise manager one time was so rude I thought I have to just not come back here!

That is why I would not recommend this practice.

Have been sitting in the waiting room for 50 minutes. Disgusted. Waiting for Dr Soly. So angry especially after Dr David had a go at me for running 10 minutes late. Parking issues.This is my last time. No wonder they are so quiet. Dead as a doornail

Dr Siyu (David) Liu was exceptional, and thorough!
He listened patiently and took the time to ask questions to understand the situation, and then inquired some more, and then he explained what my child experienced and why.
He was very thorough and have great manners.

An exceptional and thorough doctor.

The center also have heating inside, was very clean and tidy, unlike other very cold health clinics.

Receptionist was friendly too.
