I first started coming to this pharmacy 2.5 years ago because it was right near my work. The second time I walked in, Mary greeted me by name! To remember who I was after just one visit, made it obvious that the staff truly care about their patients. It’s not just a pharmacy, it’s a pillar of the community. They make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. They’re also fast and efficient when it comes to filling prescriptions or helping you find what you need. Although I would’ve continued going even if they were slow, simply because they provide a “small country town” style of service, in a city. You’ll receive easy to understand advice to ensure there’s no misunderstandings, which is extremely important if you’re starting a new medication. Although I no longer work close by, I still continue to come here. You won’t regret switching to this pharmacy. The pharmacists and techs are incredible!

My parents have lived in Wavell Heights for 65 years. Duty of Care is their Chemist. Mary and the team greet them by name, and give M&D the best of care. This Chemist has stood the test of time. Duty of Care stands by its name. Caring honest giving to the community. You don’t see that everyday!
Thank you for your support.

This pharmacy is by far the best I’ve ever been to. So much so, that it has become the regular pharmacy for my family and most of my friends. Mary is extremely helpful and highly educated in all types of medicine. She always explains exactly what you are buying, all the way down to saline nasal spray for my little one. My kids absolutely love her and always give her a big hug every time we come in. If you are looking for a friendly family chemist, duty of care will always be my number 1 recommendation. But not too many people! Haha I almost want to keep this little hidden treasure to myself! 😆

Hands-down the best pharmacy I have ever dealt with for ordering my child's specialist medication. They are so friendly, reliable and efficient, and their pharmacist Mary is so wonderful. I love that they seem to know all their customers by name and go above and beyond to provide them excellent service. Thank you DOC team!

A great local pharmacy. The trading hours are just that bit longer than most local chemists, which is so convenient. Lovely staff and the prescription prices are the same, if not lower than the big pharmacies. 10 out of 10

Pharmacist was rude and cocky.

And did not seem she wanted to help us with a cough medicine for our toddler.

Gave us panadol at the end of the day and said se recommends nothing as he should not be given anything .
She also played the immigrant card and said that here in Australia they don't give children anything and we should let him sleep is sickness off
Mind you we had to walk far to reach a pharmacy just to be treated like this

Will never go there again
