Bought my one year old son here who had a high temperature, raspy cough, runny nose, heavy breathing, the works. The doctor told us to use Panadol and it was a “mild” fever. I was very unsatisfied with this and sought a second opinion where my son was then prescribed medication for a bacterial infection, flu, inflammation and a ventolin puffer. Additionally, the second GP told us my son had all his molars coming in - dr su didn’t even look in my sons mouth. Not thorough at all, seems to not even want to prescribe medication. Dont bring your babies here if they’re ill, it’s a waste of everyone’s time.

I don’t normally write bad reviews but I was quite dissatisfied with my experience so I thought I would share

Dr Su is normally our family doctor who my family has been seeing for many years now, my mum goes here often, my most recent experience I was telling the doctor about my blocked ears which she recommended ear drops which was good I listened to her advice and got the ear drops

However while I was there, I thought I’d also get some advice on my memory issues I’ve been having for many years now where my mind feels like a shredder- I have trouble recalling information, words, events that’s happened etc where when I’m talking to someone I have trouble remembering words, and it’s something I’ve been worried about for a long time and I finally got the chance to bring it up with the doctor (because sometimes with a busy schedule it’s hard to fit a doctors appointment in) and her advice to me was to “just focus.” Yep that’s it.. just “focus” so the cause of my bad memory in the past was that I “wasn’t focusing”… I clarified it with her again and she said that I needed to “concentrate” and sometimes there can be distractions happening in life

Look I understand sometimes people don’t focus but it seems very concerning if I come with a real issue I’ve been having for a long time and that I’ve been very worried for a long time and the advice I get back is that I need to “focus” just seems ridiculous, the doctor didn’t even ask me questions about my life to try and figure out the root cause, also I told her that there has been mould in my room for a very long time and I know there could be issues with breathing this in and I asked her if that could possibly be causing my memory issue and she said “no” with no further explanation..

Not only that but I also asked about possibly getting a blood test done to make sure I’m eating correctly, now that I’m older I wanted to make sure I’m eating right and if not what vitamins I needed to take to get my health back, so I asked her about the blood test and she said the blood test only tested for cholesterol, iron etc which is fair and she said my last blood test in 2021 showed no signs of anything wrong (my results were good) so then I was happy but I asked if I should get another blood test since it’s 2024 and she said “no”

Honestly the whole experience made me feel like because there was a lot of people in the waiting room she just wanted to give me quick responses so she could get through to everyone because I didn’t feel she was thorough or asking me in depth questions to figure out what was wrong, and even recommending me not doing a blood test which is quite wrong considering you should be getting a blood test every year to make sure your health is still good (because my diet has changed since I last took one 3 years ago)

It’s just upsetting, some reviews below also echo similar concerns with the doctor disregarding the clients concerns.. very disappointing as I’ve been here for years but seems as though the doctor is not putting as much effort/ care as before/ as she should be so I will not be returning and recommend others if your concerns have not been thoroughly discussed to go to someone else that will be open to hearing/ discussing your concerns properly

Genuinely dangerous that this doctor is still in practice. She knows nothing about mental health and doesn't do a proper assessment for any chronic illnesses. I was diagnosed with clinical depression after I sought a second opinion as I was basically suicidal and had no quality of life coming out of an abusive situation and her assessment of me was "oh she's just very sensitive". Useless.

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience. I had not been before but needed a consultation for abdominal pain. I waited outside in the carpark waiting area, when the Dr approached I wasn't taken inside to assess my pain after describing symptoms. Not only that, for abdominal pain the bare minimum is to lie you down and press in certain areas. This didn't happen. I was told to "avoid fatty foods and drink plenty of water" and asked 'do you need a doctor certificate" I did not get asked anything else, nor was I given any suggestions relating to pain management (i also had a slight fever)
I made an appointment to get a second opinion the next day, and that doctor sent me for scans, and it turned out I needed emergency surgery and was admitted to hospital that afternoon. I know other patients who have found Dr Su very good, so perhaps this was a bad day however I was dismissed with what could have been a life threatening situation. Also, just in case there is the standard 'you're not on our system' reply - i would like to make it clear that I was a new patient and was a walk in. Perhaps that's why I wasn't taken inside. In any case, I will not go here again.
