Dr. Ross Turner is a fantastic specialist, and I have no complaints about his care—he has been wonderful throughout my IVF journey. However, the experience of interacting with his reception staff, particularly Naomi, has been consistently disappointing.

IVF is an incredibly emotional, mentally exhausting, and physically demanding process. Every appointment carries so much weight, from uncertainty and anxiety to moments of joy and heartbreak. A little warmth and empathy from the front desk can make all the difference, yet every time I walk into Ross’ clinic, I feel invisible. There is no greeting, no acknowledgment—just cold, blunt interactions that make an already stressful journey even harder.

At my last appointment, a beautiful milestone turned sour when Naomi’s abrupt and dismissive attitude completely overshadowed what should have been a joyful moment. Instead of offering understanding in a stressful situation, she was rude and unhelpful, leaving me in tears on the way home. This isn't just a one-off experience; I've seen similar complaints from other patients and even heard firsthand from friends who’ve had the same treatment.

When you’re going through something as challenging as IVF, you need a supportive environment, not one where you're made to feel like a burden the moment you step through the door. The clinic would benefit greatly from reception staff who understand the emotional weight their patients carry and treat them with the kindness and respect they deserve.

Dr Turner and his whole team including admin and practice manager are outstanding. Ignore the other reviews. He is the best Dr and my wife and I looked forward to all our appointments with him and his team - he has the best sense of humour!! Remember, the admin team are busy people and deal with some patients who have sad stories, so don’t mistaken their tone for anything else. We found that offering a smile and polite engagement with his team was reciprocated!! Highly recommend!

After falling pregnant I was referred to Dr Turner to be our Obstetrician. We had our first appointment with Ross and he was very informative, kind, professional, compassionate, a great sense of humour and made me feel very comfortable and at ease at every appointment. Ross confidently guided me through my pregnancy and was so patient with the million little questions I had along the way and eventually resulting in the delivery of our healthy little girl.

A couple of years later I fell pregnant with boy/girl twins (a more high risk pregnancy) and I had no hesitation going back to see Dr Turner. I was very nervous and a little stressed being pregnant with twins and Dr Turner always kept me fully informed and provided clear guidance throughout. I liked how he was straight up, didn't gloss over things and was very upfront and honest from the get go. After what felt like the longest pregnancy in history it was time to deliver my twins and due to my Husbands work he was unable to attend which was so difficult for both my Husband and I. Dr Turner and his staff were very supportive and eased my emotions and managed to make this delivery a very positive experience under the circumstances.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Ross for all you have done for my family bringing my 3 healthy babies into the world. We are so glad we chose you to be our OB.

I would also like to thank his staff and in particular Naomi. These ladies were lovely and couldn't be more helpful.

Dr. Turner is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. Even though my pregnancy was natural and had no complications, I never wanted to consider about going to another doctor. (His practice was 120Km away from where I lived. )
He made sure I was absolutely happy and healthy during those 10 months. He never ignored my stupid questions. My pregnancy and delivery were the best experiences in my life, all thanks to him. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a GYN OB.

Ignore all negative reviews. I have been seeing Dr turner for 9years and not only has Dr turner saved my life many of times but is the best if not the master of anything gynaecological in Australia and I would dare say overseas. The admin team are very busy, doesn't that just speak volumes for itself? A busy team means an excellent Dr. He is incredible and highly highly recommend.

My partner and I have been very happy with our experience with Dr Ross. He is thorough and made us feel comfortable during our IVF treatments. He has a great sense of humor and over all is a great Doctor.

A fantastic obstetrician that I highly recommend. Having given birth only two weeks ago to our first bub, Ross was an absolute professional yet somehow still managed to keep the mood light during the delivery which contributed to a positive birth experience for me. Thank you Ross!
