I don't know where my review went but I am currently in such shock and grief. Dr Walsh where would I be without you? You skills and knowledge, compassion and care saved my life. I am eternally grateful to the care you showed me and my children over the years. You saw me through some if the darkest days of my life with patience and care. You will be hugely missed but always remembered. My thoughts are with your family. It was lovely to hear the occasional story. Always remembered

Dr Norman Walsh was our family GP for twenty five years. His professionalism, attention to detail, empathy, care, straight-up manner and knowledge of all things medical, including knowing the very best go-to specialists for reference, in all manner of difficult health circumstances, as well as understanding that his patients were all too human, kept my family safe and sound through all of the usual challenges that life has to offer, as well as his old-school ‘pastoral care’. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore. If there was a course offered at Uni in ‘How to be the really good GP’ Dr Norman Walsh would be THE template. Blessed to have had twenty five years with such a person in our lives, usually when we were crook. He always helped. To his family and friends, please know that Norman Walsh will never be forgotten by the very many people he served.

Dr Walsh is fantastic, just the right balance of caring, informative and reassuring.
He has provided several referrals to specialists, for myself and my family, and Gail has assisted in making calls to get us seen quickly (within a day or week!) which makes a huge difference. My last doctor seemed to pick specialists out the phone book, but Dr Walsh is both caring and knowledgeable, so he recommends good specialists in the area, or out of area when it's worthwhile to be able to see someone sooner.

Dr Walsh is a calm, knowledgeable and attentive GP. He is the opposite of GP's you find in the bulk medical centre's where the atmosphere is so busy and the doctor's are trying to give you a script and push you out the door and charge like a wounded bull for the experience.

Dr Walsh's surgery still has the community GP feel where you feel like a person rather than a number. Gail is also a lovely receptionist who never fails to give my son a lolly pop after the experience. I take my 5-year old son for children’s ailments, my husband has seen Dr Walsh for sports injuries and we are all extremely happy with Dr Walsh.

After seeing a specialist who suggested surgery after I broke my wrist I saw Dr Walsh for a second opinion. He was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. After looking at my wrist he was able to give me more insight into the nature of the fracture and referred me to a hand specialist. In the end I was able to avoid surgery and my wrist has returned to normal strength without any loss in mobility. If it wasn't for Dr Walsh I would have ended up having unnecessary surgery.

We have been to several practices and medical centres since the twins came along, and we were never altogether happy with the experience.
A friend suggested Dr Walsh, and this turned out to be a very good tip.
He takes his time to do the job properly, and explains things clearly without being alarmist.
I have myself been a couple times for minor sports injuries, and am very happy with how it was handled.
Now the whole family use him and we are done looking around.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a very good GP who is not only thorough and competent, but personable as well.

Dr Walsh is an excellent GP. He's very knowledgeable and thorough, always takes the time to talk you through options and the pros & cons of different treatments. He's great at explaining things and genuinely seems to care about his patients. I'm very comfortable with this guy.
