I recently took my nephew to visit Dr. Kevin Hoang for an assessment of possible ADHD. Dr. Kevin Hoang was not only knowledgable, but was incredibly thorough in his examination and took the time to explain Dennison condition in a way that was easy to understand. He listened attentively to our concerns and was patient, caring, answered all questions/concerns without making us feel rushed.
Dr. Hoang empathetic approach and excellent communication skills made us feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout the entire process.
After following Dr. Hoang treatment plan, Dennison has significantly improved. He found he can stayed focus in class with less distractions, less anger and can concentrate longer time in his studying.
We are grateful to find Dr. Hoang and highly recommended Dr. Kevin Hoang to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Psychiatrist. Thank you !

To be honest, the psychiatrist system in Sydney is worse than what you think. Waiting times are over three months for lesser-known centres and over six months for more famous ones, creating unrealistic expectations. Dr. Kevin was the same as the other two psychiatrists I've visited before; he provided a prescription based on the information I provided, without any in-depth questions or investigations regarding my mental health care plan. Yes, I was diagnosed with ADHD, but I'm curious why the first session was described as 45 minutes when, after a 20-minute delay, my appointment lasted only 20 minutes, resulting in a total of approximately one hour at the center. This seems to represent a significant portion of the appointment time unaccounted for, especially considering the cost. Furthermore, the medication caused feelings of euphoria during the day and significant anxiety after 12 hours, leading to a challenging discontinuation process.
My brothers and sisters reading this: I do believe that a healthy lifestyle and exercises are the best treatments for well-being unless you are suffering from a serious condition. Even then, be patient and seek more professional centres; I do not recommend this one.
