I can't speak highly enough of Ken, he is absolutely incredible. Very caring, trusting and never rushed through appointments.

From our experience each patient to him is important. He takes his time and carefully looks after you.

We have just had our second child and during the whole experience I felt calm and in control. There was always information given to me in a way I understood - not medical talk.

Having had a preemie the first time around and moving up to Sydney we looked at many options to who would suit us. Ken was recommended by a number of nurses we knew but most importantly from the royal flying Dr's.

I researched all the obstetricians in the Sutherland Shire who attend Kareena. Having my first child I knew nothing about the process, I called around after obtaining a short list of recommendations from my GP. A couple of places wouldn’t even give me a management fee estimate without me booking a consultation for $200. That just made me feel like that’s all they cared about if they wouldn’t give me basic information.

Dr Roper and his practice were extremely informative and supportive, especially his support staff when I called up crying because I thought I miscarried. Dr Roper told me to come in straight away and turned out it was a subchorionic hematoma which didn’t affect my baby. Dr Roper is down to earth, friendly, genuine and extremely knowledgeable. Every appointment we got a scan and could see our baby grow each time.

I was induced at 41w2d the night before delivery and Dr Roper attended the next morning when I was further along. Everything went well and he visited us 3 times at our stay there to check on us. Wonderful Doctor.

Rude and extremely unprofessional in his correspondence with my GP and general behaviour. I saw Dr Roper some years ago and found that whilst the treatment he offered was adequate his attitude and behavior was condescending and downright unprofessional. He wrote a sarcastic and insulting letter about me to my GP because at the time, in my 20s, I requested to be treated in a public hospital. He did not speak with me at all during procedure in the hospital, arriving and leaving after anesthetic had taken effect and the whole experience was extremely disturbing. He also appeared to have arranged for a group of students to be present during the gynecological procedure, seemingly because he was miffed at attending a public hospital. I would not recommend this man to anyone.
