I’ve been seeing Dr John Miller for over 15 years and he has been the best doctor psychiatrist I’ve ever had but not just that he cares on a human level unlike a lot of Doctors you deal with when my son was on a 18 month waiting list to see a psychiatrist he went out of his way to get my son in asap and my son life has changed so much for the better as well as my own thanks to Dr John Miller i highly recommend Dr John i honestly don’t know where I would be without his help. I also like to say his office reception are always so welcoming and helpful and always willing to help i appreciate the support and care i and my son receive thanks

Keep away from this Dr if you're kids have been diagnosed with ADHD or autism. My niece has permanently brain damaged after taking the medication that he prescribed. She is now a lot worse than before med 😡

Um some of these reviews... pfff.. My son saw John for several years. He is a lovely man. The receptionist is an amazingly caring woman and very helpful. Best Psychiatrist we ever had . Excellent service. 5 stars from me !!

Seen him a few years ago and he really helped, just been again, very lovely, knowledgeable and is straight forward and that’s exactly what you need, really enjoyed my appointment and the new receptionist is very lovely and kind.

I’m very excited for my next appointment in a month to see how my life has changed by getting a proper diagnosis!

I would be put off by other reviewers as I think people need to learn the difference between psychiatrist and a
psychologist and new and experienced professionals 🙂

We were recommended Dr Miller, we took our son for a while. His diagnosis ASD, ODD, ADHD. We found Dr Miller not very good. He would laugh at things that our son had done, instead of helping or giving advice. So our son would say, see even the Dr agrees and thinks it's funny. We also received a very short report, that wasn't completely correct, it was also obvious that he had filled in the blanks with our son's name etc. Overcharged and called in late but sent out early. Basically rushed out of the door. Didn't really listen to us. I even took another professional on one occasion who was shocked and disappointed with everything during our appointment, (lack of listening, interest, help, enthusiasm) she had previously thought him to be good and one of the best, well our appointment completely changed her mind on that. Very very disappointed with this Dr's service. On many occasions. We only continued as long as we did because we were waiting to get into another Dr. He should've retired a while ago. Clearly no interest in his profession anymore.

John Miller hastily prescribed Clonidine for my sleeping issues related to ADHD 15 years ago,
I was 14 years old.
He completely ignored the fact I was having suicidal thoughts, exhibiting self harming behaviours and already taking other medications that were known to have serious interactions with this drug.
3 months later I took an overdose of the Clonidine and fell unconscious, if it weren't for a school friend unexpectedly checking in on me that night, I would have passed away.

This man is incompetent, uninterested in his patients and a danger to the community.
I truly believe he is only interested in his paycheck, charging exorbitant prices for appointments in which he gives no true advice, over prescribes dangerous drugs and that he cuts short in order to rush you out the door.

Please read these reviews and take his behaviour into consideration before you book an appointment with Dr John Miller. It may end up saving a life, either yours or someone you love.
