Terrible and unprofessional. She decided to quit the clinic that I was seeing her at after withdrawing money illegally from a client’s bank account and proceeded to cut all contact to avoid being persecuted by the police.

Wish I could give zero stars this women shouldn’t be allowed to be a psychiatrist she doesn’t care at all she’s very incompetent and should have her license and certificates revoked.

She’s never available she never answers calls and she ghosts her patients and she never takes notes and has zero remorse and talks about herself and dog more seriously everyone should report this women she deserves nothing but failure and I hope karma gets you soon.

Every single consultation she is running 30-1 hour behind, does not take notes, nor does she share information with workplace or psychologist I repeatedly requested for medication to be changed as I had gained 49kg in six months. she looks bored the whole time during your consultation, yet has very definite views on what everyone else is doing wrong. Eventually after a suicide attempt and psychosis, I was admitted and was immediately taken off the meds that she wouldnt change. She is not interested in helping people she is interested in getting richer. I started seeing Dr Hamilton Feb 19 and finished on Dec 19. I was trying to advise her that I was not feeling well enough to return to work and she started yelling at me that she could not having to liaise with my work place and work cover. In essence her lack of psychiatric ability her and her failings almost killed me as a care provider, I have now have had two Mental Health in patient stays and I have recordings of her screaming at me if any one is keen to listen to them prior to actually seeing her. I am still have not returned to work as now I have to get over the drug addiction. Caused by her. I am now facing another stay as getting off these drugs make you a basket case.
The last time I tried I almost killed my 11yo Autistic Son. Worst Doctor I have ever had as a treating doctor, definitely don't go and see her for a work cover claim she to give them any information and then they make that your fault. Work Cover make you believe you have to see the same DR all the time......Incorrect, if you are unhappy with the service you are being provided and find another DR who has your interests at heart.

Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I can’t not express my concerns for this treating psychiatrist, I’m considering lodging a complaint with OHO regarding her service. I’ve had 1 appointment with Diana a few weeks ago when I was referred to her she was supposedly practicing at a Sunnybank clinic, call to book in and I’m advised she no longer practices there and relocated to mount Gravatt. No problem, call the new clinic book in, see her mid may 2021 - took 8 days to get my Medicare rebate because Diana had not sent it off. My next booked appointment was 3 weeks later for a PTSD assessment, also going through income protection claim, my appointment was for today. June 3rd 2021. Drove 50 mins to the mount Gravatt clinic and called 2 mins around the corner to confirm my time at 9:30am. The receptionist advised Diana no longer works there and relocated to yeronga. I asked how long Diana was at the clinic for and it was only for 4-5 weeks. No one has called me to advise of this! Called the yeronga practice to gain address so I could attend my appointment today to be informed Diana is not working today only tomorrow. Which she is all booked out for, I asked when her next appointment is she said 4 weeks time. This is not on, extremely unprofessional. During my first appointment Diana advised me I have severe depression etc and to just take 150ml of antidepressants when I expressed I don’t want to take them and have suffered from depression majority of my life then continued to explain to me that my claim with my super for income protection will be to difficult as my super company are terrible etc. did not feel supported in my first appointment she asked me a whole of 5 questions. I also requested that she send a report back to my treating GP which she has not done. No call backs or emails from her. She has wasted my time when I don’t have a lot of it especially going through a claim process. I have never seen a psychiatrist for fear of opening up etc it’s hard for me to trust someone and this is exactly why!

Iv been seeing Dr. Diana Hamilton for around 18 months. She is incredible... Some people complain about wait times, but what do they expect... I'd imagine at times patients may be having a crisis and go over an allotted time, which may throw out the whole days schedule... But you can't just cut a patient off mid crisis and be like OK, times up cya later! Some people have no clue...
As for Dr. Hamilton, she's amazing. I can't imagine ever seeing anyone else. It's like she's straight out of a Hollywood movie. Amazing personality, Sooo incredibly intelligent, she's a real person you can talk to, and has helped me figure things out without implanting her ideas into my head. No words... Best psych ever!

I have been seeing Dr Diana Hamilton for approximately 4 years. Her professional & personal approach is always very gentle & reassuring. She is very easy to talk to, and nothing ever seems to much. I was originally referred to Diana as I had been badly assaulted at work & she was & still is treating me for PTSD, Severe Depressive disorder & Severe Anxiety. She has helped me enormously in many areas of my life especially those I mentioned above. She has extensive knowledge and many years of experience in treating, I wont say patients, lets say people from every walk of life. I find her to be very professional yet when attending each appt, its like talking with a good friend. I would highly recommend Dr Diana Hamilton to anybody in need of treatment. I feel so very blessed to have found such a caring & understanding Psychiatrist, & feel so very blessed to have her as my Psychiatrist & friend.

Wish I was able to leave a thorough review but spent 3/4 weeks trying to get in contact with her and heard absolutely nothing back after multiple phone calls and texts, not even the clinic she books through were able to get a hold of her. I ended up booking through a different psychiatrist.

Very terrible attitude. Money minded. Critical & abrupt. Makes patients feel like they are a waste of her time. Extremely late to appointments then advise patients she has less time for their appointment.
