I am forever changed because of Dr Denise Tong. Literally in one appointment she has managed to do more for me than countless other specialists. She is amazing, and I cannot praise her enough. She actually cares and she actually listens. Not once was i confused about the plan. The receptionist on was lovely, and funny! Also she showed me a picture of the cutest damn ragdoll cat wearing a bow tie, so bonus points for that. Anyways, thats my fangirl moment over.

I just called to reschedule my upcoming appointment and the receptionist was so RUDE and impatient in answering my call. Even though she might have a bad day but that’s not the attitude to treat a customer. As a receptionist in a doctor’s clinic, she should be more helpful and show more compassion towards the patients who already has some health problems.
Anyway I’m feel so sorry for Dr Tong who herself is such a good and compassionate doctor but with a such a rude receptionist at her clinic.
She rescheduled my appointment till another 3 months time, and she could have nicely offer to put my name on a waiting list from the cancellation of other patients. She is absolutely has no phone manners too, she just hung up the call even I was halfway through it.

I attended a medico legal appointment with Dr tong. I would have given it a 0 star if possible. Dr Tong is too obsessed with making money as supposed to patient's care, Therefore my medico legal appointment was rushed to a timeframe of 10 to 15min, During this time she even admitted that will finalise the report there and then. To do a medico legal report properly she was given around 15 documents from previous doctors. Rather than do this she looked at the previous opposing doctor's report. Dr Tong was meant to be my supporting doctor and not only base my report on the opposing doctors report but in fact made it worse than that report. According to the SIRA guidelines a chronic pain syndrome is a rateable condition but she stated in her report otherwise and gave me 0%WPI just because it was easy to copy paste. I found dozens of contradictions in Dr Tong's report showing for me and then against me in one sentence. I feel sorry for the receptionist that has to put up with her. If you need a comprehensive caring rheumatologist DON'T SEE DR.TONG.

Dr Tong is amazing!!! BUT the receptionist should be fired. She made everything 10000% more stressful. She was also extremely rude to other patients and some left the room because of her poor attitude.

the receptionist's behavior was consistently rude and disrespectful. She frequently hung up the phone without offering a simple farewell, leaving me astonished at the lack of basic courtesy. It was clear that she had no regard for providing a positive customer experience.

Furthermore, I was appalled by her careless attitude towards handling patient inquiries. She thoughtlessly put me on hold for extended periods without offering any apologies or explanations. This disregard for basic customer service norms only added to my frustration and made me question the competence of the staff.

The final straw came when I called to inquire about my documents. Instead of addressing my request professionally, the receptionist responded with an unpleasant nasal sound and informed me, in a dismissive tone, that she had no time to assist me. Her exact words were, "You just wait, I don’t have time to do it." She then hung up the phone, leaving me feeling utterly disregarded and disrespected as a customer.

I have been a patient of Dr Tong for nearly 2 years now and have been very happy with her and her staff until now. I just called to reschedule my upcoming appointment - the new receptionist was very impatient, pushy, and rude with no phone manner whatsoever! 😓
