I can see there are a few negative reviews for this place so I want to add my positive experience. I had a blood test done this morning. I was there a couple of minutes before 8 and they were already open. I was the only person there and took a number and the nurse took me in a couple of minutes later. The blood test itself was easy and fuss-free. The lady who took the blood was nice and very efficient.
I don't mean to invalidate anyone else's experience, but it's possible some of those negative reviews are from the madness and mayhem of COVID peak times.

This pathology is within the medical family centre, currently they make you wait outside no matter what. The reception staff I dealt with for the medical centre are not very friendly or helpful at all. However the actual Douglass Hanly Moir blood collector was very nice, friendly and helpful. So I think people's bad reviews are actually relating to the medical practice staff (reception) which are not Douglass Hanly Moir.

Came here for the second time to get my blood collected. Friendly staff, super quick and professional. I’m usually scared of bloodwork and it wasn’t bad at all. Recommend 🙂

Choose a different pathologist. The wait can be ridiculous and I was charged $120 for an ECG that my doctor insisted I get re done due to the poor quality of the results. The very junior staff member who took the ECG had to do it 3 times as she kept getting the leads wrong and had to look up the instructions constantly. Laverty pathology across the street is much better

I wish I could give less than one star. I've just been turned away for a blood test my doctor prescribed after being asked to wait outside for 40 minutes - ready? - BECAUSE I HAVE A SORE THROAT AND A NEGATIVE COVID RESULT (from yesterday).

I'm not a doctor, but I would guess a sore throat is THE most common symptoms of illness in the world. So the Hippocratic Oath of Douglass Hanly Moir isn't "Do no harm" it's "Do nothing".

So, here's the implicit message Douglass Hanly Moir want to send to the world about COVID: Lie about your symptoms and don't get tested.

This is how we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory people.
