Had an appointment on Friday 31st January 2020. My consultation and treatment were excellent. After my treatment I was told to go to the waiting room while the nurse organised my medical certificate. I payed my fee and waited. After about 30 minutes I went up to the receptionist and asked if she could find out from a nurse about my medical certificate. She made inquiries and after another 10 minutes of waiting I told her that I would come back in 2 hours as I had another appointment elsewhere. I called the practice 2 hours later to check if my medical certificate was ready and Erin from reception answered the phone, she said that she would find out what was going on so I told her to email it to me as I had to leave to go home to Blackwater. I still had no email when I got home so I called Erin again and she said she would try and get around to it by the end of the day.

At 9:45am I called the practice as I had still not received anything and the nurse I spoke to said there was no record or notes about any medical certificate and that I would get a call back. I got no promised callback so I called them back at 2:30pm and was told that the certificate was emailed. Still nothing in any of my inboxes and the nurse I spoke to said to check my mail boxes but nothing. I still have no medical certificate, not sure what to do. Worst service ever.

I received a phone call from the practice this morning apologising that they had input the wrong email address. After they corrected their error I received my medical certificate that morning.

Attended my follow up appointment today and was given the all clear by the Dr. to have my stitches removed. After my stitches were removed I was actually told to book another appointment to come back and get a clearence certificate. Unbelievable. During my check up I did mention to the nurse that I needed a clearence to go back to work, she then started typing on her computer and then left the room on a few occasions. I assumed that she was going to organise the clearence certificate, however, when I asked her where it was she told me that it was my responsibility to ask the Dr. for it and that I should have asked him for one when he was checking my wound.

I was then told by the nurse that my follow up appointment was only to have the stitches removed and if I wanted a work clearence then I had to make a seperate appointment and come back then. I asked at reception but there were no available appointments for the day so I booked an appointment in Moranbah and drove over. I got my work clearence from a general practice there. I was fortunate enough to have been bulk billed.

The Dr. did ask me on two occasions to remove my review and I was quite happy to do so at the time. I had a huge change of opinion about "Priority" Health Group by the end of my appointment and this review is the outcome.

I won't be coming back to this place again and I will share my experiences at this clinic with my friends and family.
