Exceptional local chemist with very quick and efficient service. We were able to get our medications within a few minutes of walking into the store! The pharmacist, Martin, also never hesitates to give caring and extensive advice. I would 10/10 recommend.

I dropped in to fill a prescription, generic high blood pressure tablets. Last lot cost me $6.99 bought a month ago on the 11th Jan. So my question is why do exactly the same generic lot of tablets suddenly cost $19? I can only put it down to the fact that this sad little pharmacy can charge extortionate prices because they are the only ones withing 10km. I have to feel sorry for all the people of Blackheath that are paying well over market price for life sustaining medication. They should ashamed of themselves. Please, please plan ahead and start mail ordering your medication from the larger pharmacies like chemist warehouse. I will never make the mistake again.

Lovely small pharmacy town with great staff and pharmacists. So much better than discount chains as they are really care about me and my family's health, waiting time for scripts is great, not like other places. Hope that we will keep and have more pharmacies like this in Australia.

I'm back again (it's the only chemist in town!) and I have to say I don't get this place. I had a prescription for Sofradex ear drops and I was charged $23.95. That seemed a suspiciously high price to me so I checked the Chemist Warehouse website and they list it for $8.99.
It's one thing to say they're a small business so I should expect to pay more but that's excessive. $12 would be ok but double that is not.

Unimpressed with the officious style of service from the shop assistant here. The medication was urgently required but the prescription was expired. I was just handed back the prescription with no advice about how to quickly rectify the situation. It was only when I went back a second time, unhappy that I'd simply been turned away, that I was given any advice about what to do.
Wherever possible I'm going to use Blooms in Lithgow, where the service is excellent.

Polite and hard-working staff - they even drop meds to one's door. It seems unreasonable that anyone would expect prices to be comparable to city-based larger chains: how could they be? It costs more to run a small shop in a small village. City - based critics would do the same if they were in this situation.

Dash's might only value your custom if you pay them every week.

6 locals(regulars) were served ahead of me, while I waited for 25 minutes for the pharmacist to give me my child's medication.

The assistant asked me 3 times if I needed any help. Perhaps she could find me a house in Blackheath and a chronic illness? Then I might feel that I have some value at Dash's?

As a 'new to the area' local, I'll be shopping online, because the postman is nice, and I don't want ever to set foot in this place again
