I have seen Dr Malik around 3 or 4 times over the last few years and he is always enthusiastic and thorough, you get a true feeling of care. I have seen other doctors in between and always feel like another number and rushed to get out.

Also, The receptionists are friendly and it's a nice waiting area.

EDIT: 6 mths later... Dr W left just 1 month after this review. So disappointed in him.

Original review: Dr W is phenomenal. Thorough, caring and did more for me in my first 15 min visit than my previous GP clinic in 15 years. I had my files transferred immediately. Just don't tell everyone about him because he'll be booked out. 🤫

The receptionist is a gem. So kind, she listens and does what she can to ensure a calm, timely visit.

The nurse I was treated by was also kind and caring. I hope she is an ongoing addition to the team. Wonderful bed side manner.

**⭐ 1/5 – Terrible Time Management, Zero Respect for Patients**

My first (and last) visit here was beyond frustrating. I booked an appointment for **2:20 PM**, arrived on time, and was forced to wait **40 minutes** with no updates—just a vague “doctor is busy, you’re next” at 3:00 PM. No apology, no explanation for the delay. If a clinic can’t respect patients’ time, it doesn’t deserve their business. I walked out and canceled my appointment. Never returning, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere unless you enjoy wasting your afternoon.

Been apprehensive going to doctors for years because of previous experiences of my concerns being brushed over or feeling rushed at my previous doctor. My first visit was with Dr. Malik, and he was thorough and I actually felt like he listened. Wait times are super short compared to my previous doctor as well (wait times could be well over 45-60 minutes after your appointment on a regular basis).

This is my secondary clinic and I have been going to Dr Malik since he opened the clinic. He has always been very helpful and has never prescribed me medication I can’t take due to my health conditions. The wait time is very short. Most clinics I have been to make you wait over an hour to see the doctor. Today I did my first walk in, which is the day after the holidays which is always busy. He fitted me into his schedule and was able to find the solution to my issue. Everyone that works in this clinic are very friendly and great at explaining medical terms and answer all my questions. Thank you so much for fitting me in today despite being fully booked out!

Also the receptionists are all really friendly and nurse was amazing today in the treatment room. She was was very helpful

Well to my Suprise the practice manager rang me to discuss my issue very polite and thoughtful. I have now deleted my issue happily because of the incredible care taken to talk over my complaint.
I have now seen Doctor Malik twice and agree like so many clients he is an exceptional GP. Quick because of his experience but still a great listener and adviser. I am very happy this service cares enough to talk over complaints and client concerns. Life is so busy, business so competitive that people don't care. This service takes the extra effort. I am grateful this service cares after 4 weeks of a nagging cough I had become very run down. I had already had to scripts for medication from another service and nothing had changed I met with Dr malik who prescribed medication within 3 days my cough had eased so much after 5 days no cough.

I have been visiting Dr Malik for about 2 years now. I haven’t seen any doctor that supportive in past. Dr Malik listens to your problem carefully and then suggests the right treatment plan. Most of my chronic issues have been resolved by upto 80% with Dr. Malik’s treatment plan.
I have also referred my friends and they have mentioned nothing but positive reviews and positive experiences of visiting Dr Malik. I would highly recommend Dandenong village medical centre and Dr Malik to all, who are looking a good GP in the area.
