I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the unprofessional staff at Daar/iFit Group. From my very first interaction, it was evident that professionalism and customer service are not priorities at this organisation.
Firstly, the receptionist was on several occasions rude and dismissive. She rolled her eyes when I asked genuine questions, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. On multiple occasions, I overheard her openly discussing how the owner is “crazy,” how many staff have left the business due to her behaviour, and how her Iraqi fiancé keeps urging her to leave this “toxic workplace.” All of this was said in front of other caregivers waiting for their appointments. This is highly unprofessional and creates a negative environment for clients who expect a supportive and respectful atmosphere.
Additionally, the owner does not seem to fact-check what her staff are doing but has no hesitation in making unwarranted remarks such as, “Why are you yelling?” or “You need to regulate” or “everyone’s perception of reality is different” when I was simply speaking or asking a question, avoiding to take any responsibility for her actions. Yes, I was frustrated—just as anyone would be in this situation. Instead of ensuring clarity and professionalism, she refused to properly explain the service agreement, acting as though she was doing me a personal favour rather than providing a service she is being paid for. She also remarked, “You should know what this is” in reference to a 10-page document, despite the fact that my child has only been on the NDIS for eight months, meaning I have likely only encountered it once before.
To make matters worse, the behaviour therapist assigned to my child’s childcare visits provided little to no actual assistance. After two visits, the childcare centre informed me that she was merely observing rather than actively engaging or providing meaningful support despite staff offering private space to engage with my child. This lack of involvement was frustrating and did not meet the expectations I had for the service.
Overall, my experience with Daar has been completely unprofessional—from the poor customer service at reception to the lack of engagement from the therapist.
My advice to you: do better. Child with additional needs deserve better!
I have no doubt the owner will respond with the same generic, copy-paste comments she uses on all negative reviews, rather than genuinely reflecting on this poor experience. It seems she doesn’t understand that people don’t take time from their busy working life while caring for a child who has a disability just to make complaint without actual cause. Oh she also promised a call back that she never followed through with and ONLY appears to call if she thinks she can put one over you. UNPROFESSIONAL.

Terribly managed since the change in ownership from IFit to Daar.
Communication between reception and clients are non existent. Constant change in therapist with no comms, no handover, no introductions, and cancelled appointments with nothing rebooked even after confirming.
Each time I called to discuss changes in appointments/therapist and getting no straight answers, blame was always put on “the other receptionist”. Emails go unanswered also.
Sent an email to cancel all future bookings and no response which led to having to call them AGAIN.
After which led to SPAM messages and emails to rebook and phone calls. Non of which I ever received when I was a customer for over 2 years.
So disappointed.
Would not recommend. Especially for children who need a lot of time to regulate, build relationships and need consistency.
Would suggest anyone who has or had bookings with them to check their NDIS charges!
They only care about MONEY and squeezing what they can from NDIS!

Wow. What can't I say about this FABULOUS place. The team here at iFit Group, have become family to me. I have never left my son with ANYONE since the day he was born. I fear for my son safety all the time but with the iFit Therapist I feel free and safe to leave my son who is high needs in there care. They not only attend to my son's needs they also care about myself and my family. My son has come along way since attending iFit.. The 1 and half to 2 hour travel is worth every minute.... To Alex , Tiffany and all the other iFit Group Team members that have helped us this far, I thank you all, for all the help, work and support you a have given Chase, we look forward to continue working together with you all.. #weLoveiFit

If you’re questioning your current speech therapy provider and considering changing.. you have come to the right place.

Our experience using another provider (with our first child) had me questioning if these sessions were the standard of the industry. Luckily mother’s intuition had me looking elsewhere and I found iFit group.

All the staff from the front reception to my child’s therapist are very attentive to our needs. Throughout the year I have seen my daughter excel in her understanding of Speech Sound Development for her age and finally reach her Communication milestones.

As a parent there is nothing more gratifying than ensuring your child is being assisted and guided through what could be a difficult time in your child’s development. My daughter looks forward to attending her sessions and each one is tailored specifically to her skill set. No two sessions are exactly the same and tasks are different each time to engage learning. Her confidence in playing with her peers have grown exponentially.

I have referred iFit group to a number of my other parent friends because I genuinely believe in the team. My only regret is that we had not come here earlier.

I am so glad I found iFit Group. My kids have been coming here for years. The staff are very welcoming, professional and experienced in what they do. The reception team go above and beyond to help and are always happy to see us when we arrive. They make you feel welcome. My kids are so happy to come each and every time. If I can rate them more than 5 stars I would

Daar is a wonderful organisation: the therapists and allied health professionals are amazing with kids and attentive to their needs. Reception staff are polite, professional and very organised. They listen to your concerns and always try to be accommodating as needs change. Daar is very innovative and always on top of best practice for therapy relating to children with all types of needs. They have an array of resources and utilise this to benefit the children. Their workshops are well thought out and engaging for children of varying ages and their sensory room is a hit with my child. I highly recommend Daar to families and parents as they really care about what they do.

If I could give this place a 0 rating I would my son came here for 3 years and not 1 change they waste time they come late to the appointment never on time, they just want your kids funding! My son was mistreated and has autism when I brought it up to the manager she thought she could bribe me with a free toy, once I let them know I’ll be pulling my son out they then go on there system and take out more money from my sons funding which was thousands! STAY AWAY FROM THIS RUBBISH CENTRE!

My child has been receiving speech and behavioural therapy services from I-fit group for the past 2 years and it has been a fantastic experience for both of us. With a team of exceptional therapists and strong management, I fit group excels everytime. Their commitment to parent support is evident, additionally, the engaging workshops aimed at enhancing kids' social skills contribute to a holistic and enjoyable therapeutic experience. Julie in reception/admin always has a solution to your scheduling😀 Keep up the good work i-fit.
