FORMAL COMPLAINT SUBMITTED TO HEAD OFFICE
I purchased two box of Friends of Frank Orange and Almond Cookies on 31.12.24 (along with a Raww face exfoliator).
Upon returning home, later that evening, I realised one box was out of date (expiry 12.11.24) when opened and inspected they were stale, so I threw them in the bin (being New Years Eve I was too late to return to the store).
On 8/01/25 I returned to the store to purchase a box of tablets and mentioned to sales assistant (Geoff) that I had purchased expired cookies, thinking that they may replace them. He asked me to speak to the pharmacist, so I did. The lady pharmacist (didn't get name) looked up my purchased history after I showed her my credit card statement as proof of purchase (as I didn't have receipt), and said she could see my purchase on 31.12.24, at 1:18pm by Geoff; but without the box she couldn't replace.
I went home and found the box, so the next day (9.01.25) I returned with the proof requested. I went to the counter and was greeted by a sales assistant, briefly explained the conversation I had the prior day and she said she would go get the pharmacist. Instead of the lady pharmacist that served me the day prior, a male pharmacist (didn't get his name) greeted me advising that the lady pharmacist was on her break and to take a seat and wait 10mins or come back in 10mins. I asked for the acting manager to handle the exchange/replacement, as it was unreasonable that I had to wait 10mins for a simple exchange, when multiple staff were free and available to serve. He then told me that he was the Acting Pharmacist and he didn't have authority to do the exchange (I find it hard to believe that a grown man who has the authority to dispense prescription medication, does not have the authority to exchange a box of cookies). I said that his request to wait around 10mins was unreasonable so he could either serve me or the pharmacist on their lunch break could come out and serve. He refused. So I then said well you have the proof you require, I'll take the replacement box of cookies and the pharmacist can deal with the paperwork when she gets off her break. He then threatened me with calling the police and told me I would be shoplifting! So I told him I wouldn't sit or leave and I would wait at the counter until someone was wiling to serve me. He said wait a minute and went out the back. On his return, he told me he had rung management and they said that the cookies weren't expired, it was a best before date. I said they are "best before" a month and a half before my purchase date and stale! He then said if you let me finish, I will exchange, but I can't refund. I had only ever asked for a replacement in the first place, so his listening skills are extremely poor!
He took me over to another counter and processed the exchange on the till (so he lied, he did have the authority to process the transaction). I said that instead of all the muck around, he could have saved himself a lot of trouble and just done the exchange in the first place and resolved a very simple problem, and a sincere and genuine apology for wasting my time wouldn't go astray. He then replied, I sincerely and genuinely want you to leave my store and never return!
The ordacity of the man to speak to customers this way is astounding! His behaviour and attitude towards customers is abhorrent and needs to be reprimanded and either re-trained or moved to a non-facing customer service role. The Google reviews are telling and the replies (which I gather are from the same man) are all accusing the customer of being rude, hostile, aggressive or abusive - which by my encounter can only say are outright lies. At no times were I any of the above, I simply spoke very clearly and loudly, so other customers could hear our conversation and could witness the inappropriate responses from the male pharmacist.
*If the rude male pharmacist is reading this, please don't bother replying, your behaviour is well documented by other Google reviews, don't even bother trying to defame my character. Peace out.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for 12 months and more than once they haven’t had enough medication to fill my script. I’ve let this slide but today was the last straw. Knowing that they have availability issues I put my script in 24 hours ago as I’m traveling interstate for the next 4 days and when I came to pick up my diabetes medicine I was told it wouldn’t be in until late afternoon, i told the pharmacist that I’m flying out at 1pm and I really need the medication, he didn’t apologise, was extremely rude and didn’t care enough to suggest another pharmacy. Also something that I let slide was I came in for my monthly script and the sales assistant gave my my mother medication and I paid for it, then when I realised what had happened my customer experience was extreme poor. Lift your game, not having needed medication is extreme bad, but you poor customer service is even worse

The staff are super friendly and helpful, using their knowledge and expertise to go above and beyond to assist me with my needs.
One thing that really impressed me was the great selection of vegan and plant-based food and other items. It can sometimes be challenging to find a wide variety of options. However, Currimundi WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods had an extensive range of vegan products, making it a one-stop-shop for all my hard to find dietary needs.
Additionally, the new layout of the store is fantastic. It is well-organized and easy to navigate, making it a breeze to find what I was looking for. The shelves were neatly stocked, and everything was clearly labeled, making the shopping experience efficient and enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend Currimundi WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods. The friendly and helpful staff, combined with the great selection of vegan and plant-based food, and the easy-to-navigate layout, make it a top-notch destination for all your health and wellness needs.

I will never use this pharmacy again my son also used this pharmacy he went in to collect his script a couple of weeks ago but no they gave him my script obviously they only looked at the surname this could have ended tragically if he took my medication without realising I go in to collect my script and they say oh your son picked up yours making out it was his fault then he goes in last Friday to collect a script which he had dropped off the day before only to be told they didn't have his diabetes medication in frustration because he had a flight to catch he was not happy and asked for his script so he could go elsewhere and the pharmacist slammed it on the counter very very poor service he then went to Terry White who also didn't have the medication but organised for another chemist so he could get his meds. Wholefoods pharmacy needed to learn good customer service I will never step foot in there again.I would like to add my son didn't know I had a script there so why would he ask for it

The service I’ve received in particular from Geoff and Lisa was exceptional. It’s now my number one health food store and pharmacy. I’ve been telling all my friends to go! I travel from Baringa just for the customer service & caring staff. Absolutely love the new transformation they done, Lisa C was amazing at helping me with what I need & nothing was a drama.
