My 94 year old mother has been a resident at Cumberland View for over 10 years and has been very happy with that experience.
When she became eligible for the government’s Home Care Package we chose to have it administered by Trent and his team at Cumberland. I am very happy to say that it turned out to be a great decision because the management has been first class with full transparency and accuracy.

I am taking this opportunity of publicly thanking Cumberland View Home Care Manager Mr. Trent Thomason for his most outstanding attention when giving support, confidence, understanding and willingness to listen attentatively and respond in a positive manner allowing me to feel comfortable in making my approaches. I have been most happily married for 58 years but regret to advise my dear wife has been receiving outstanding professorial treatment for incurable cancer for 14 years at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The burden on us both is heavy and I am honestly delighted to advise that when I seek assistance from Trent to help me with my personal ambulatory needs he has never failed, not once, with advice, support and practical assistance. I walk with the help of a mobile walker and Trent acknowledges my needs. He is a huge asset to the Cumberland View family and I personally thank him enormously for his constant willing welcome advice and unflinching strength delivered with humour and civility. Michael appears to be very happy with his care package..His carer is warm and friendly and very helpful towards him.
Michael seems to enjoy the freedom to be able to go out at last 2 to 3 days per week.

I’m very happy with both services my husband and I get. Our garden always looks nicely trimmed, and today my husband had his carer while I did some shopping ( respite). It’s a very goo service indeed.
