I returned to Crown Medical about 18 months ago as I needed a female doctor who would listen to my needs as a woman. I usually see Dr Yi Zhou Zhou (Dr Si Si) who is an excellent, patient centred practitioner who supports choice and control over my health needs. Today I saw a new GP, Dr Pooja Bisht. An excellent, kind, caring and helpful doctor. I am always taken care of at this practice from the caring and professional practice manager, Mary and her front desk angels to my lovely doctors.

The doctors are fantastic, however the receptionists are very rude. In person they are sometimes better, but over the phone their service is always horrible. I’ve been hung up on on multiple occasions, and they are not accommodating, helpful or compassionate at all. Always treated like my call is an inconvenience. By previous reviews this is a long term issue - please work on this.

Unfortunately I had to leave this practice. It was during Covid I rang and Dr Saurty gave me a phone consult as I wanted an exemption from wearing a mask. He spoke to me briefly on phone suggesting I try different brands of masks. Secretary rang me 5 min later asking for my credit card. Sex and travel to this place. PS Note this is my personal opinion, I'm not discrediting this practice nor doctors there

I've been a patient of Dr John Lenehan since he started his own practice in Corrimal St Wollongong and Warrawong many years ago. This Doctor is a wonderful caring gentleman who has the fantastic ability to diagnose the problem quickly and thoroughly just through having so much experience in various roles in private practice and the Hospital system. I thoroughly recommend Dr Lenehan, an MD you can trust .

I visited a male doctor at on Friday and it was the most unprofessional experience I have received. Dr Daniel Buckingham asked if I was a level 1, 2 or 3 when I explained that I am autistic. This is not appropriate to only ask me that and not about my wellbeing. It’s unacceptable and ableist. He also implied that my diagnosis wasn’t legitimate as I received it from a psychologist and not a psychiatrist. Again, completely ignorant as psychologists typically diagnose Autism. This doctor should get educated and I am writing this so that no one else will have to experience being invalidated by an ignorant GP or hasn’t bothered to keep informed of best practice. I’ll also be making an official complaint as this is extremely harmful to peoples mental Heath especially if they have had been diagnosed late in life and have had to suffer with incorrect treatment options.

Their bedside manner is HORRIBLE. dr.raj was making jokes about something really sensitive to me.
I was mortified.

Dr jayswal’s bedside manner is awful as well. It was honestly traumatising

Reasonably reliable as there are several doctors; appointment availabilities are OK. The doctors are fine. The administration needs a bit of work - it isn’t seamless. That said, it’s a bunch of little things that don’t affect the healthcare much and that’s most important.

Had to wait 2 hours for a 10 minute booked appointment. The Doctor was incompetent and did not provide advice or any medical expertises on the issue. No level of professionalism. The receptionist was extremely rude over the phone and hung up on me.
