A great medical practice. Highly recommended!

I have seen five different medical practitioners at this practice.
All of these doctors have given me excellent professional advice and good personal care.

Some more details …

> The first consultation that I had was about a sore foot. The accurate diagnosis, after some tests, was that I had a small fractured bone which needed some physiotherapy for my foot.

> The second consultation was about a pain near my stomach - which was correctly diagnosed as an inguinal hernia that needed a surgical operation. The surgery was successful.

> The most recent consultations - with three different doctors -were about what turned out to be a small but painful duodenal (stomach) ulcer. I was ultimately advised to go to Royal North Shore Hospital - which I did - and was successfully treated for that condition.

I had an appointment with Dr Rose Li and she was so kind, reassuring and gave me realistic solutions. Thank you for actually listening to me and caring, it means so much. I will definitely come back to this practice. The receptionist staff were also really efficient and lovely.

After being disappointed at another nearby medical centre where on too many occasions I waited an hour past my appointment time to see my doctor only to be rushed through my medical issues I am very happy to have felt respected, been seen by very amiable, competent and thorough doctors and have never had to wait more than a few minutes at this practice. In fact I was called by receptionist staff to be informed that my doctor was running 15 minutes late. I had to pinch myself at the difference! I will be very happy to continue with this practice.

I recently moved back to Sydney and was seeking a regular GP to handle on-going maintenance between specialist sessions. I had another issue to address as well and booked a long consultation for $165. I never got around to asking about the on-going maintenance because the GP was harried and cut me off repeatedly. I received a follow up to test results to go back for a “treatment plan which was not suitable to discuss via email”. The Dr I originally saw is now on leave for a few weeks so I had to see another one. This Dr simply read out the results, no treatment plan and sent me on my way. I still had to pay $145 for that.

While the doctors are knowledgeable, the experience was less than personable and clearly focused on quantity rather than Quality. Ok for one-offs, not as a regular.

A friend recommended the practice when I moved from another suburb.
I’ve been very happy and well looked after. The practice is modern and efficient but I’ve struck gold with my new GP, Debbie Geyer. I feel heard and unrushed and we work together with new information and my medical history. I just feel I’m in good hands.
My husband sees Dr Justin Tan and feels the same. Plus he’s so impressed not to have to wait for over an hour which was the norm at our previous GPs practice.
