I am a Practice Manager of another practice in town. For conflict of interest reasons I asked my Doctors at my practice who they would recommend elsewhere to see my daughter they universally agreed Cranbrook Medical. After calling to arrange, and some communication I was impressed with their reception team friendliness and professionalism going the extra mile to try and accomodate our needs. Dr Amanda Tapiolas was brilliant in the care she has shown helping us navigate what could have been a serious issue. As someone who knows General Practice and a parent I am both impressed and
grateful to Cranbrook Medical for their care.

Really good medical centre with a good physio therapist and also a handy blood collection spot. Have been seeing a couple of Drs over the years and have had no problems with them as they are very professional and pleasant. The front of house staff too have also been very professional and helpful. Nursing staff are very empathetic and professional in their treatment of patients. I would happily recommend this practice to anyone.

Hands down the best physio in Townsville.

So much that when Tyler moved practices I’d rather travel the extra 20mins to continue my rehab with him then even contemplate entrusting another physio to continue my rehab with.

His knowledge, passion in his role and the rapport he builds with his patients sets him far above any other physio that I’ve had.

I visited Cranbrook Medical for Physio and couldn’t be happier. Tyler was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. He successfully treated my injury throughout the one session and provided an array of rehab related exercises to avoid the need for any unnecessary follow up appointments. Such a beautifully renovated building. Reception staff are lovely! We transferred from another clinic, following our much loved GP. Admin had all of our records and paperwork sorted before we attended our appointment which is very helpful with young children. Very professional and caring medical team.

Nice location and great set of GPs. New practice I believe. Big consultation rooms. However front office needs training as they certainly listen to respond and not to hear what you are actually saying. It is also VERY disappointing from a centre priding themselves of being a women and children clinic to NOT to bulk bill for children. This is not a decision which was made by the practising doctors but management which shows to me a sole focus on actually making money not a difference.
Please note this is in no means a review about the GPs as my GP is outstanding.

Cranbrook medical are not considerate of large families with financial needs as they are one of the only clinics in Townsville that don’t bulk bill for children and have the hide to charge $2 for a face mask. This clinic provides the same level of care (and wait times) as any other medical practice but have decided they need to charge more for their services.
