I strongly advise anyone considering employment with this company to think twice.

This cosmetic clinic has unfortunately earned a reputation across the industry for poor treatment of staff. They are known for hiring very young nurses who have only just received their AHPRA registration, often with no prior cosmetic experience, and placing them in high-pressure roles with minimal support. The approach feels exploitative using fresh graduates who are eager to learn, only to lock them into rigid contracts.

One of the biggest issues is their so-called “training program”. While marketed as a learning opportunity, it’s actually a financial trap. Staff are forced to sign contracts tying them to the clinic, and if they decide to leave,for any reason, they are expected to pay back a training fee that can be upward of $9,000. This includes people who leave due to toxic management or burnout. It feels less like professional development and more like coercion.

The overall culture is disappointing. Support is limited, turnover is high, and morale is low. It’s a shame, because there are some lovely individuals working there but the structure and policies in place make it an extremely difficult and unsustainable work environment.

If you’re a newly qualified nurse, be cautious. There are other clinics out there that truly invest in your growth without financial entrapment or emotional pressure.

I've never had a problem ever the whole 8 years I've been coming too Cosmetique all the staff is lovely.
But that was not what I experienced unfortunately the nurse I had on that specific day her name was Bianca at the bibra lake clinic.
I walked in all smiles even 10 minutes early.
she asked me what I would like done and I said to her I’d like 1ml or maybe abit more we will just see as we go.
she replied.. well we only do 1ml with a smirk on her face laughing to the apprentice next to her. straight away I could feel tension from this nurse not understanding why this nurse would even be acting like this she had absolutely no reason too. anyway she then proceeded to not listen to what I had to say bluntly ignoring me.
and she then said " just let me feel your lips" very rudely.
then she said i won't be able to do anything today for you as your lips are migrated.. I was shocked as I've never heard this before. I ended going and getting a second opinion, straight after I left there.
Got told from another cosmetic place my lips weren’t migrated at all! And they couldn’t understand why she wouldn’t do my lips?

At the end of the day I was ok with not getting them done today as my problem with her had nothing to do with my lips being migrated. As I still continued to trust her after feeling so embarrassed and uncomfortable in that space. When it’s ment to be the total opposite that is why you go to these places for them to help and give you an understanding of what you could possibly have done to feel more confident!
Well this was the absolute opposite!

It was the absolute rude sarcasm from the minute i walked in that I was upset about and how small I felt walking out of that room.

When I proceeded to ask her for her name she said I'm not giving you my name and I said well I would like to know so I can make a complaint. As I felt so little about myself.

She then told me her name. Don't know if it is the right name or if she gave me a fake name I hope not.

But this was the most unprofessional experience I have ever seen coming from a nurse it is not what she said it's how she said it that had me so mind blown.
Just wanting to let people know the experience I had. so no one else has to ever go though what I went through with this nurse.

And just letting you all know if you have any complaints do not bother sending them an email to there compliance email as they do not repond. And if they do. it takes weeks for a reply and all they do say is sorry for the inconvenience. And that you had to go though something like that.
Thank god they’ve never botched my face as they are no help at all. And simply don’t care!

I will not be going back to them again. And cosmetique in general not just the cockburn clinic!

The nurse (can’t remember the name) listened to what I am willing to achieve and was so quick and did everything I asked for. Will go back again. Thank you for a great service!!

Just had my first lip fillers done! So far, so good. The lady who did them was amazing—we had a consultation first, and when it came time for the fillers, she was super gentle and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Really happy with the experience!

Booking was very easy and straightforward. The nurse at Cockburn so lovely. She explained the process and was very gentle and thorough with the wrinkle relaxer treatment. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back again!

I booked an appointment to get lip fillers and was told over the phone I’d receive a $50 voucher as part of a promotion for the month. At the appointment, I mentioned the voucher to the nurse and she said she would apply it, but she conveniently “forgot”. I also booked for the Juvaderm Premium ($299), but was told they only had the Luxe ($399) available, which I agreed to. What I wasn’t told when booking was that there would also be an additional doctor’s fee, bringing the total to $440.

It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. I felt misled, and I could’ve overlooked that if the results were good. Unfortunately, they’re not. Most of the filler in my top lip has already disappeared, except for some uneven bumps that make it look lopsided. My bottom lip has a large lump on the right side that I’ve tried to massage daily, but it hasn’t improved. I can also feel big deposits of filler inside my lips against my teeth. It has only been 3 weeks.

My lips look bad and uneven, and now I’ll need to go somewhere else to fix them. Please avoid this business. I am suffering mentally from this.
