I’ve been to Cooma Hospital twice now for routine day surgery, and each time has been a great experience. Let’s be honest—what really makes a hospital “good” is the staff, and here they’re absolutely brilliant. Everyone is super friendly, from the nurses to the anaesthetic team. They greet you with smiles, crack jokes, have light chats, and genuinely make you feel at ease. Chloe and (I think it was Dr. Murder?) from the anaesthetics team were fantastic—funny, professional, and just great to be around. The nurses were caring, cheerful, and incredibly kind. All up, a great hospital with an even better team. Highly recommend.

Ive never ever been treated so poorly at a hospital. The doctors and some nurses are dismissive and extremely rude. Ended up walking out because the lack of care and disgusting comments made by staff members.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Not long to wait when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Generous in providing painkillers and antibiotics for first couple of days for a knee infection.

Some great service from Cooma Hospital and Health Service x-ray department along with an unfortunately very grumpy and unhelpful older receptionist at their desk. While she was short and rude over the phone, the other receptionist and staff were welcoming, efficient and polite. Pity I couldn't give them 5 stars.

I had fracture on my right foot. Went there on 6th oct at 10 am. Nurses and doctors are amazing. Very good service. Thanks to every one at cooma hospital.

Had to take my girlfriend here to have her ankle checked out. I have to say, we dealt with quite a few staff members before we made it to the doctor. Everyone was so lovely and very helpful. I was pleasantly surprised! Keep up the great work!

Our family were Mountain Biking at Thredbo and my son had an accident on one of the big jumps. We ended up at the Thredbo Medical Centre which I can't say I was overly impressed with. A GP who didn't introduce himself and really had more important things to do, a male nurse who lectured me on how MTB riders need to "harden up" and don't need local to clean out a wound etc. The next day we drive to Cooma ER, what a wonerful surprise, staff that care, a nurse that cared, a GP who cared and made sure our son was treated with professional care and warmth.
Nothing short of amazing...thank you so much for looking after him.
