the psychologist is very lazy my partner went to see Dr Dunne. The Original price being $400. You would think it being your job you would be able to read your clients history at least. Therefore wasting the first 40 minutes, this made the season over a hour which added another $300 apparently can get it back with Medicare at some point.😒 In summary -$700 down, no knowledge gained, would not recommend

I recently spent 3 weeks at Cooinda and was discharged a different person. The group facilitators and the DBT content was enlightening and life changing for me. All the nurses were kind and gentle and were so obviously trained in mental health. The ancillary team were also fantastic, always considerate and quiet and the food was plentiful and delicious……probably too much of it according to my scales when I got home. I could not fault anyone, each and everyone of the Cooinda team played a significant role in my recovery. Thank you 🙏

Dr Dushan is an amazing man. He actually changed my wife’s life and looked deeper to find she had adhd rather than bipolar 2. I am forever in his debt. These things take time but he asked questions from the very start. It is important to note that mental health is an ever evolving science that we barely understand. Yes you will need private health to stay at cooinda clinic but in comparison you also wait years for public health. Our government sets the parameters for mental health so maybe direct any angst towards those people as they provide the funding and public services. I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for two exceptional psychiatrists at Cooinda - both Dr Illesinghe and Dr Moss have given me the care and guidance to excel in my career and build relationships in a way I never thought possible.

I also owe my success to psychologist Dr Human and highly recommend his knowledge in treating severe ADHD in adults.

I have been fortunate enough to have used this facility a couple of times and some of these reviews are extremely incorrect in my opinion. This facility treats people who may at times get easily confused so reviews need to be read according. My experience is you would not find a nicer receptionist in the world. The facility is new with all facilities you would require. The doctors are amazing. The food is extremely good with a selection of salads and desserts. The kitchen open 24 hours with fruit ,biscuits,coffee and a fridge full of drinks. Lovely gardens and outdoor areas to rest and relax. Exercise and education classes which are very beneficial. Games ,TV and family rooms for visitors. Nursing staff who are amazing especially Julie and Christine. Medication is given efficiently. The hospital is set amongst a peaceful relaxing environment besides a rainforest. My only fault is they would not let me stay longer. I would highly recommend.

Very, very difficult to get to see a Doctor on a timely basis. We first had to wait 3 months, then were sent away to get some tests, and then had to wait another 6 weeks for a follow up appointment. Now our appointment has been cancelled the day before we were due to come and we can't get a date for the next appointment. My daughter is getting very upset and frustrated as she really wants to start addressing her issues. I know this must be due to a shortage of doctors but maybe you should stop taking new patients so that we could have gone to another practice in the first place and would hopefully have got help by now.

I have been attending outpatient therapy groups for about 10 weeks and they have made a positive difference to my life Everyone I have dealt with have been very professional and helpful.With the day clinic I would like to thank Lee and Lucy at admin who always have a smile and very friendly disposition.Karlye and Madonna the facilitators are very knowledgeable ,caring and helpful I owe them a massive thank you as they have helped me through some low times .They are both great listeners and provide good advice.I have been very fortunate to have met some lovely people in the groups.Dr Lubimoff is my Phychiarist and I would highly recommend her.She is always very caring and enrolled me In the Day Therapies which have turned by life around.Lisa in Reception is very helpful too.I feel fortunate to have found this Clinic and highly recommend it.Thanks Everyone. 👍😀

These reviews sound about right. I'm thankful one lady at the front desk who was very helpful actually referred me to another psychiatrist, she was understanding. I think some of these doctors are to focused on there on personal success and there comfortable offices , having to understanding on the day to day struggle out there .
