Dr Callum Lamont is absolutely brilliant he actually talks to you in a way you under stand . He is definitely one of the most thorough doctors I've ever seen and i would highly recommend him to anyone. The young nurse they have is also very well versed in what she does and is very gentle she rates a high recommendation to .

Disappointed to say the least! I recently registered at this practice, not reading the reviews. My consultation with Dr Jackson Payne was fine. Over the last few weeks, I became unwell with Blood Glucose readings high, and BP of 190/75. I tried to change or reschedule my appointment which was 2 weeks away to no avail. I rang daily for cancellations etc, but no luck. In the end, desperation and with advice from telephone helpline, they noted my symptoms and advised immediate visit to Emergency Department at Joondalup hospital. After a very long 4 hours there, I was informed that they had a 9 hour backlog of urgent patients. The waiting room was being used as Triage care. After discussion, I decided to go home despite the warning that my condition could worsen quite quickly, they couldn’t (understandably) prescribe my necessary meds without a doctor. I went back to Connolly medical centre to see if I could at least have a prescription. Was told that there was only one doctor that day so no appointment. Reception said she would message him and see if he could squeeze me in. After sitting there for a few hours I asked again if I could be seen. Was told he hadn’t responded, and probably wouldn’t be seen. I have registered with a new doctor, appointment made immediately, and hopefully a probable/ possible heart attack or stroke has been avoided. All for the sake of a prescription!!!! Even a busy overworked GP should see an urgent patient when necessary. I feel the reception should have made more of an effort to inform the doctor of my distress and symptoms. Bad show all round. Unless you never have a sudden illness or medical issue, Probably not the ideal practice to visit. Sad reflection of GP care and practice manager 😩.

Despite this disparaging review, I should have added that my visit with Dr. Jackson Pyne was perfectly professional, he was thorough with checking my condition on that day as a new patient. Had bloods taken at my consultation, and gave me good advice. Obviously a very knowledgeable and helpful doctor. My review had nothing to do with the care he provided.
My problem was the lack of support and experience of the reception staff. I have been to a new doctors practice today, appointment made and seen within 24 hours, who agreed my condition was indeed very serious, has put me on a new course of treatment, she has also assured me that even when they’re busy, they will always endeavour to see a patient urgently.
Please do not judge the actual doctors in Connolly Drive Medical Centre.

Could never get an appointment since new reption and new Doctor started. Use to be good. Don't recommend them at all finding a new Doctor. Some time in life you need to move on to greener pastures.

Don't even bother, not very friendly. Says yes we have spot to book your, but when she hears the word new patient, all of sudden sorry we don't have space for you and can't help you, but very unprofessional and rude.

Will not recommend anybody or family to this practice.

Oh plus I have reported you to the medical board of Australia and gave them a copy of the recorded phone call as well🫡

I attended this local medical centre for my son's immunisations, as he is currently on an amended immunisation schedule. I saw Nurse Debora who observed that his immunisation schedule and forms were filled out incorrectly and overall, an absolute mess. Debora took the time to decipher through all his previous and future immunisations and wrote down several questions and queries to take back to PCH. PCH then confirmed that Debora was in fact correct regarding her observations and a new less complicated schedule was provided to myself. I am so grateful that Debora had an abundance of knowledge and experience to assist my son and I. My son is now officially up to date with all his immunisations and back on the routine schedule and that is because of Debora put the extra effort, care and compassion into her patients. Debora's nursing is also impeccable, not only provided extensive information regarding the vaccines being administered but barely a cry out of my son due to the distraction tactics she has up her sleeve. The medical world would benefit from having more Debora's.

I went to another doctor surgery. I was told that my kid just had a virus. She got really sick and kept spewing up. The doctor that we saw (Dr Shelly) was very thorough. She listened carefully to my child’s chest and immediately identified pneumonia. Thanks to her accurate diagnosis and prompt treatment, my child is a lot better now. I recommend this practice for anyone seeking attentive and professional medical care.

I have been going to this clinic for about 7years, and I have finally decided to never visit again. I will not name doctors, but have seen many, and have had some terrible encounters with a few.
One tele call was even forgotten by one doctor. They never get back to you, and I don't think any messages are forwarded on to them from the reception staff.
The reception staff have all changed over time, but are unhelpful and don't seem to know what is required of them.
The wait times to see doctors is just awful, and absolutely unacceptable.
I won't be returning to this clinic

Dr Shew Yee Oo has been seeing me for the last 6 weeks. I have never had a regular doctor before. Now I do. She was caring and concerned. She took the time to explain all of my questions and she made sure I understand what she was saying. She also took the time to give advice regarding different medical procedures and techniques. I'm sure she had better things to do, but she was always professional and courteous with my questions. I have always hated going to the doctor. Until she make me feel comfortable. Thank you again.
