Had THE BEST ten days at FCMH @ Hervey bay hospital.

Amazing facility. The rooms were beautiful with my own en-suite. I felt very safe.

I had access to a communal “help yourself” kitchen area w/ coffee machine, fully stocked fridge and chefs cooking lunch and dinner.

Did I mention there is a coffee machine…. and a lot of cheese available at any time of day or night.

They have a garden to sit in, art supplies, pool, guitar, karaoke with Candy and mindfulness classes run by psychologists.

Shout - out to Dr Beau who helped me so much. Katie, with the green makeup and green hair is one of the most knowledgable nurse trainers I've ever met and she helped to set up “hospital in the home” in our area, I don't know what that other one star review was about for her. Total bullshit.

Jaryd the nurse, David from alcohol and drugs, Denise, Kaye the Artist nurse, Jill the social worker, Jake, all the Liz’s, Emma the nutritionist, Tessa, Belle, Ben the ambassador and all the other staff that I can't remember their names cause they drugged me, were so kind, compassionate and knowledgable.

I'm grateful for my time there and am about to start a new life and a new art business. Would highly recommend FCMH. 10 out of 10….wont be back! 🫡😁

My son was under their care and for three days he had no medication. They couldn’t be contacted , Friday afternoon to Sunday. Absolutely atrocious!! They are incompetent and shouldn’t be caring for our vulnerable. The next week he committed suicide.

I have had several months dealing with these people who I have found to be made up of a vast number of low IQ sadistic and incompetent individuals bar the slight exception here and there.

Important decisions have and were made using political and personal biases which run rampant through government organisations, tall poppy syndrome everywhere.

In almost all instances these people were unprofessional, and grossly negligent in their duties. Many well past retirement age, would be better serving the community standing in line at Centrelink.

Justification for the underemployment of staff, is consistently at the expense of the health of the individual getting treated, which is a breach of patient rights.

Went here for help and the person with the bright green hair and make-up was so rude to a lady waiting outside I told her there's no need to be so rude when this lady is doing nothing wrong then when I went in I told her there's some questions I won't answer and that's when she decided to try bullying tactics in the end I said f this and walked out now I can't see mental health as she pit on my file I was abusive and uncooperative but didn't say anything about her rudeness and when I ask to put in complaint I get told there's no avenue to lodge complaints. Her attitude is wrong for this job I have also heard since she has treated others badly with her disgusting attitude this lady needs to wake up we go there because we need help not your I'm better than everyone else attitude.

Treated me horribly. I went there seeking help for a serious issue and the only help they could offer was telling me to keep doing the same treatments I had already been doing that had not been working. Accused me of just wanting pills and accused me of not being receptive to help when I have been the one doing all of the work to get better. Don't bother coming here, I'm in a worse state than I was before I tried seeking help here.
