Located within Toowong village shopping mall. Good collection of daily household consumables. Fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products available. Very convenient for meeting the daily consumable requirements along with medication and personal hygiene products.

I am extremely disappointed with the staff at Toowong Coles today. Their behavior was not only arrogant but also discriminatory. I asked if I could leave my purchased items at the front counter while I retrieved my car to transport them, and the staff confidently assured me that it was fine. I specifically mentioned that I would be back in over an hour and even asked about the store’s closing time, to which Thomas, the staff member on duty, confirmed it was okay. However, when I returned, Thomas informed me that my items had been sold to other customers because his manager claimed it would not be fair to hold them. This is completely unacceptable. First, I had already paid for these items, meaning they legally belonged to me, and reselling them without my consent is both unethical and a potential violation of consumer protection laws under Australian law. Second, retail operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and once an item is purchased, it should not be available for sale to others. Lastly, this situation demonstrates Coles Toowong’s lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for customers. If this is how paying customers are treated, why should anyone trust shopping at your stores? While you seem concerned about fairness for other shoppers, what about fairness for me? Your staff made a clear commitment that my items would be safe, yet they failed to honor their word. A simple apology and phrase “there is nothing I can do” does not resolve this issue, and I expect a serious response and appropriate action regarding this matter.

It's definitely the top class shopping centre in Australia. I love the Coles because it has a unique section for halal meat with different varieties. The staff are friendly and helpful. Other than meat, you can find any vegetarian options and fruits.

I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the customer service. When inquiring about the availability of supplies, the staff responded in a dismissive and condescending manner, accompanied by laughter. Furthermore, my conversation with the store manager, Jared, proved equally unproductive, as he appeared to disregard my concerns entirely. This level of service is deeply disappointing and falls well below the standards I anticipate from any business. I anticipate a reply.

good location and parking but the food is often off. at least one item per fortnight - usually meat or vege. first time I have accidentally picked up off cheese!
I should have looked properly and not trusted them to put fresh food on their shelves

One star for the trolley collector. The staff member seemed unable to do the job properly and caused a dent on my vehicle. The lighting at the time was adequate, so I didn't notice any damage initially. It wasn't until I got home and inspected the car closely that we discovered the dents.

Unhelpful staff. You ask them about availability for a product - the only answer you receive is “if it’s on the shelf it’s available else not”. Has happened multiple time, always the same answer! They will keep chatting away to glory amongst themselves however, helping a customer is last on their list.

Store had everything I needed. Great customer service by a young girl called Jess. Made the experience very enjoyable.
