Had my second surgery today with Dr Simon Ghosh
I can’t praise him enough
Dr Ghosh genuinely cares for his patients from start to finish and goes over & above.
he has such a wonderful bed side manner.
Nothing is too much trouble for him
He even ran to get me a blanket in surgery when he seen I was cold.
Dr Ghosh has a team that are all very helpful & supportive.

Highly recommended, Dr Ghosh was my surgeon in Jan 2024 for gastric sleeve, it went smoothly and his overall approach with follow ups and dietician visits was extremely beneficial and his bedside manner is great. Writing a review because it just occured to me as I'm walking home from the gym that a year ago, before I had the surgery, my spine problems that were worsened due to the excess weight made it so I had to find somewhere to sit every 5 or so minutes; yet now I never have to do that and I'm hiking again like I did when i was younger etc, all because of the surgery and care that dr Ghosh and his team have given me, I appreciate it greatly. Not only have I gained extra years of life but the quality of those are dramatically bettered.

I have spoken to several surgeons, both in Sydney, central coast and Newcastle but non stood out like Dr Simon GHOSH. His professionalism, knowledge, advice and ease of contact made me feel extremely confident. His honesty and professional advice were correct. The surgery was a success and the follow up treatment better than I ever expected. I was never let down. Surgery date 16/12/2020. Cannot recommend enough. Simon is such an amazing surgeon. One of the main reason why I wanted the surgery was to increase my chance of starting a family. 13 months post op 59kg down and I am 12 weeks pregnant with our first baby a little girl. Anyone that is thinking about have the surgery just make an appointment to see Simon you won’t regret it 😊
