As an NDIS provider, I recently took on a former participant from CCPC. I had heard disturbing stories about this organization, but today my skepticism was shattered. I came across a letter from their executive leader revealing that an employee had admitted to being physically intimate with a participant late last year. Shockingly, instead of being fired, the employee was given a month off, instructed to take a course, and then allowed to return to work.

This is unethical and deeply troubling. How can a support worker not be dismissed after such a violation of trust with a vulnerable NDIS participant? It’s appalling to see an organization prioritizing profits over people. Disgraceful.

This 1 star review is for there ndis section.
I worked so hard last year trying to gather as much paperwork as i could to apply for ndis, they recommended i apply for ndis and after 10months of hard work and right when i had the last piece of paperwork which required them to fill in i was fired, worker resigned and no one else was allocated to help me. Complete waste of all that hard work for absolutely nothing.
I give 5 stars for the wayback service.

When I was with CCPC the staff member I was under Bridie, gave me misleading information about my entitlements, was disrespectful to me, was negligent in leaving me without vital carer support for 4 months that put me at risk. Upon complaint to her manager and telling her what excuses Bridie gave; which was CCPC were unable to train staff due to Covid. She did not condone this excuse and said she would talk to Bridie, resolve it and promised to get back to me. The manager never contacted me and the problem was not resolved.
Bridie made herself my ‘support coordinator in my last funding review report to NDIA, asking for money for herself for this role, ‘without asking me, without my knowledge, with nothing signed by me on this,, without my consent or permission’. At same review she told the NDIA planner that my husband could not go into hospital for numerous surgeries out fear of leaving me alone which presented a risk to my well being given my disability. This was true.
She then telephoned me two hours later stating I received my funds and then went on to ask me ‘why do you need support carers?’. She knows why. This was psychological abuse. I cancelled her services there and then on the phone; although needing help I will never tolerate being treated badly and being taken advantage of. And Bridie’s misconduct - she should not be in the job. She should never be alone with the disadvantaged and vulnerable.
Bridie gave me incorrect information about my entitlements again on this date also and my disability has deteriorated due to this mistreatment over time.
Also The counsellor CCPC linked me to, Glenda Clementson, violated the code of ethics by unloading on me in ‘talk therapy’ all of her life experiences, families and woes onto me and ranted about politics after I told her to stop. Making me worse. She spoke to me of other client’s business. No effective therapy forthcoming.
Bridie never provided me with an emergency support service agreement I asked for at the very beginning that was vital to meet my disability. Placing me at risk.
Bride stated at my home to me ‘I will take less money’ for seeing you, and no other information was offered? Bridie did not supply ‘receipts or monthly statements’ of where my NDIS funds were going or being used for. I later learned she was taking money from my carer support funds for visiting me when I stated it was not necessary.
She never asked or gained my permission for this - just told me. And took the money. It’s about the money.
When she rang one time and I said I was deeply depressed with suicide ideation she said ‘ I will check in on you in a couple of weeks and take less money for it’. It was demeaning. I was not in a state of good health to act at that time. I was taken advantage of and badly treated to gouge money from me.
Bridie in my case was doing what was good for herself mostly, not what was good for me. And never listened to what I needed.
Needs investigating by NDIA.
I have no doubt this would be denied - we should be able to retrieve telephone conversations as that would be proof. Taking my carer funds without signed consent, making herself my coordinator without signed consent and myself given ‘no’ receipts, invoices and statement of my funding can be proved.
I advise the disabled to never be alone with these people but to have someone always with them where there is no conflict of interest.
Edited: In response below - I am not basing this feedback on ‘how I felt’ on not being supported, but on ‘the facts of what occurred and how I was mistreated and taken advantage of’. Please do not confuse disability for stupidity. All the above is truthful and accurate to what occurred with me. And my concern is with the most vulnerable NDIS recipients being taken advantage off to make money from who may not be able to verbalise it. If action is taken then I will know if these reviews are taken seriously or not by management. I already left a recorded message with a CCPC staff member after I cancelled Bridie and CCPC..

I'm trying not to be nasty,
2 years ago I would have highly recommended them to anyone.
But what a difference 2 years can make.
They have completely lost all touch with reality and are only trading with the NDIS wholey and solely for financial gain.
They no longer put the interest of the client first, but rather their own selfish gain.
There is so much conflict of interest going on between plan management, co ordination of support and support workers, it boggles the mind.
I've had changes of COS 5 times in 2 years, granted 2 were beyond their control.
However judging by the way they have conducted themselves in the last 12 months my advice would be to avoid them at all cost. I've had many changes happen without my consent, only to find out from the NDIS and NDIA that this goes against all guidelines and regulations.
The workers themselves are more often than not are lovely, but the management leave a lot to be desired.
This has been my experience in last 2+ years.
And is only my opinion.

Just look at the other negative reviews. Run away from this place. Run fast.

The counsellor here is quite gross and disorganised, spending a lot of time looking for things, burping after having just eaten lunch, making sudden and loud noises, not allowing me to finish talking before cutting me off. I feel my way of thinking has been hijacked and I'm left trying to undo that damage.

As for the people here, who chose to make it their career to help people, they're simply narcissistic and lack any compassion or the discipline that someone in their position requires. Communication is really poor, vague, and when you call them out on it they use the DARVO method and place the blame elsewhere. They can never take accountability or even just hear out my concerns. If I can't trust someone with power over me then I can not allow the relationship to continue.

I’m in my first year of being a participant with Ccpc and I’m overwhelmed (in a good way) with supports provided from within Ccpc and supports referred by them which function outside of them.
I’m blessed to work with my NDIS plan coordinator Lisa James, who does everything she can to find supports in my community, listening closely to me (because my needs can change from one month to the next) and doing what she can to make it happen.
And for the first time in decades, I’m receiving the best psychotherapy I’ve ever had...again, in my community.

Before Ccpc my life was so dark and isolated, and now I’m noticing the suns’ rays.
