Been here twice and will not go back again! The doctors only care about the payments they receive.

Last time I had an appointment I had to notify them of flu like symptoms I’d developed (only had a cold after testing) and had to change my appointment to a Telehealth consult because that would not see me in person. The Dr that called started off by telling me her fees despite the reception doing this when they changed my appointment to a Telehealth appointment. She then didn’t listen to my concerns, stating her opinion and never asked what I wanted to do. She then hung up on me without listening to all my concerns and said come back when I don’t have flu symptoms. I ended up in hospital a few days later with pneumonia and the dr would have picked this up if she actually listened to me and cared.

Reception kept calling on different numbers chasing up my payment for the appointment despite being seriously sick and in hospital.

I would avoid this practice at all costs as they don’t care for patients, the drs are worse than a 3rd world country drs and only want the money in their greedy pockets. The healthcare system here in Rockhampton is a joke because of GP’s like this!

Fantastic first visit to CHM yesterday. From the reception staff taking my numerous calls within seconds each time, to the nursing staff being so professional, compassionate, and competent to Dr. Bartlett being just so so amazing. Couldn't be happier with CHM.

Doctors are amazing! Reception is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Always under staffed, half of the staff don’t know what they need to do or how to do it, the staff will answer the phone while you’re speaking to them at the desk, if you try to call the practice, you’re lucky to be answered within 15 minutes. Ridiculous

FANTASTIC choice of doctors at this surgery. The receptionists Maxine, Jean and Janelle are always ready to help and nothing is ever to much for them. You cannot forget about the nurses there either. Just lovely people to deal with.

I find the receptionists to be quite rude every single time I call to make an appointment, for myself or a member of my family. When I have a question, I'm left feeling like I've annoyed them for asking. I absolutely hate having to talk to them to make an appointment. If I didn't like seeing the doctor I go to I would definitely go else where. The receptionists are definitely a let down for this practice.

Good doctors, but let down by not being
able to access appointment. Definitely need to do something about their phone system. Told the calls goes into cyber space. They definitely must be losing a lot of patients.

I give the rating of two stars because Dr Nathan is a great GP. Unfortunately he is let down by the appalling counter staff. I was called by one of their specialists regarding an appointment and an indian woman was demanding I give my credit card details over the phone for an initial consultation fee of $470!!!! I refused and hung up as I was offended and could not understand her. I then called CHM to discuss the situation and was told by Jeanelle (so rude) that she had cancelled my appointment as apparently I was the rude one and that the indian woman had to hang up on ME! I am going to arrange a meeting to discuss this ASAP and the outcome will depend on where this review goes.
