I had a stroke 2022 told I would have a full recovery.within a few weeks my balance,walking, movement was all over the place. I was getting very depressed,no help from neurologists said no medication,no tests get on with your life you might get better in time. 1 said I had FND,the other said mental,physical breakdown. I was told about an interview on Current Affair "Spud" I immediately emailed Prof Teo @ Cingulum.i went to Sydney 5 days of TMS,hyperbaric,neuro physio & red light therapy. My symptoms have improved,no walking backwards,no freezing when people came near me and as my eldest son 'not trying to throw myself under the car'. My youngest son 'happy to have his mum back'. Further fMRI in May and a face time with Prof.Teo see where I go from now on. The best I could have hoped for, little way to go but a positive outcome. Very happy would most definitely recommend.Everyone involved was amazing and so caring & professional.

In November '23 I had a severe anaphylactic episode, an adrenaline shot was needed to revive me. My specialists tell me this period without oxygen caused brain damage right across the spectrum. I was left severely impacted, having trouble with balance, walking, co-ordination, brain fog, speech, sight, organisational ability and cognitively impaired, amongst others.
I was lucky enough to be referred to Professor Charlie Teo who suggested Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) may assist. Mid February ’24 I attended the Cingulum Health Clinic in Rosebury and underwent 5 days of targeted TMS treatment. TMS is non invasive and increased the elasticity of the damaged areas in my brain.
Once home, two months of intense cognitive, physical and social stimulation followed, I found consistency important to take advantage of my TMS treatment and the support and expertise available to me at Cingulum Health. As the weeks went by I could see my symptoms improve and was excited to share this with the Cingulum team.
My follow up testing and MRI in late April ’24 showed an improvement beyond anyone’s expectations. I feel a 90% improvement. I am back to living a normal life, I can prepare a meal and my family and friends say the improvement is obvious. I continue to work on my recovery daily and in some areas, I feel I am better than I was prior to the incident, for me TMS has been life changing.
To anyone considering TMS I can highly recommend it. The team at Cingulum are welcoming, so supportive and keep you informed at every stage.

Excellent staff! Assssment and program is individualised for each person. Environment is extremely welcoming. The Physio regime I found very useful. TMS has helped immensely with some post Neurosurgical symptoms. I attended from Melbourne and can say if your looking at TMS for Neuro Issues I definitely would contact Sam and his Team. Quite non invasive which I prefer and also adapted to your strengths and abilities. TMS can “look” overwhelming but really after a few sessions you get very use to the process. Cingulum have created an environment, obtained quality staff and are working on some cutting edge technology for Australia. I definitely would refer new people and already have! I’m a recently retired, reasonably fit guy in my early seventies having spent over half of my working life in the Australian Military. However, my past life has left me with a few health issues including impaired hearing, tinnitus and anxiety. Recently I became acquainted with Cingulum and after consultation with the Group agreed to undergo their state-of-the-art treatment regime to address my anxiety and tinnitus.

The first step, a brain MRI which was analysed by Cingulum using a unique high tech software. The results were oh so insightful and on the money. From the MRI results the Dr enunciated my exact behavioural pattern and a treatment regime was developed. As a spin-off I was advised my brain was free of any ‘nasties’- most welcome news! This all happened in a group/team environment in which I felt very comfortable and confident. All present were friendly, casual but highly professional people. In summary the ‘bedside manner’ throughout was exceptional.

The TMS treatment phase was spread over five days. It was fully explained and again delivered in a relaxed, friendly and professional manner. Now the important phase – the results!
