If you’ve been stuck with a chronic issue that Western medicine hasn’t been able to help with, I definitely recommend going to see Dr Song at Chinese Medicine Brisbane!

I’d been struggling with a long-term health issue for over 15 years. I’d tried just about everything, including specialists, pharmaceuticals, physiotherapy and more, but nothing worked. Eventually, I was told by my GP at the time that “Some of us are just made differently,” and was left to accept that this was just how things were for me.

I gave up for many years, but a recent flare-up pushed me to try again to find a resolution. I decided to consult a Chinese Medicine practitioner, and that’s when I found Dr Song.

When I went to Dr Song I was suffering an enlarged prostate which had blocked my urine flow and I had a catheter fitted. I had refused the medication offered to me by the hospital urologists due to the side effects listed. Dr Song was confident the prostate could be treated and I was delighted when about half way through his treatment plan I was able to remove the catheter and urinate normally. Dr Song is a very considerate, accomplished practitioner and I would recommend any man with a prostate condition to contact him. There definitely is an alternative treatment available. I am now a total convert.

My main concerns for treatment were acne, fatigue, women's health, and just overall unspecific feelings of imbalance with my thoughts and body. After following the guidelines for treatment (about 2 months), my skin cleared up, I dropped excess weight, and minimised bloating. I have been suffering from a condition called Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW). This condition is caused by the long term use of corticosteroids that was prescribed to treat my eczema. About 2 years ago steroids stopped working for me, and because of my bodies dependency on the medication, I went into a withdrawal. This caused a number of painful symptoms such as burning and oozing skin, a bone deep itch, inability to regulate my bodies temperature, loss of the ability to sweat, hair loss, severe nerve pain, severe insomnia and regular staph infections. I was completely bed bound for 6 months and suffered significant mental health issues because of the pain. I saw David (Dr Song) 6 months into TSW and my condition and quality of life has significantly improved. Dr Song’s tailored approach and commitment to helping improve my health has completely changed my life. Whilst I’m not 100%, Dr Song helped me heal 80% of the way and my treatment is still ongoing so I’m sure I’ll be completely well soon.
