We started working with Juli when our daughter was four. In their sessions together, my daughter learned skills to help manage her big emotions, and Juli coached us on strategies to use at home. A few years later, we needed help again. Juli and her team were there for us. Now we are seeing Juli for regular parent coaching and our daughter sees Ms. Lauren for CBT. I can't say enough about the supportive, collaborative environment that Juli and her team have created for our family. It is such a comfort to know they are there for us whenever we need them.

Dr Brenna Hicks was instrumental in helping our child. She is an hour away and worth every minute of the two hour drive. From our initial parent visit; we were so impressed by her ability to truly listen to us. Not only was she able to understand our concerns, she has had much experience with adopted children and educated us too. Our daughter's apprehension was gone after her first visit. She has a great way to make it seem like fun for the child but all the while keenly observing and taking exceptional notes during the entire visit. We are also glad because as our child goes thru middle and high school, she will have Brenna as a confidant, advisor and we are ever so grateful for her!!

I sent my 10-year-old daughter to Juli at Children's Counseling Center after we moved to Florida from New York earlier this year. My daughter became anxious about seemingly everything after the move and struggled to sleep and even eat sometimes. She didn't want to make new friends or do any activities she used to like. Now a few months later and my daughter has a play date with friends almost every day and I have never seen her happier. I am so glad I decided to send my daughter to therapy. She seems so much more confident now. And I got to learn a lot about dealing with anxiety in kids (and with myself too!). I would recommend the Children's Counseling Center to anyone who wants to see their kids happy and successful!
