My visit to Chemist Warehouse at 55 East St, Rockhampton City, today, June 23, 2025, was quite disappointing. An older male pharmacist engaged in an unwarranted and overly intrusive line of questioning while filling a routine repeat prescription I've used for a long time.

While I understand the need for safety questions, this felt excessive. I was also uncomfortable being asked to disclose personal medical information in a public setting, clearly audible to others, which felt like a significant breach of privacy.

There was nothing about my situation that justified such intense questioning or public disclosure. It affected my trust and has made me hesitant to return to this pharmacy.

Usually pretty good, until tonight when I had a script filled 45m before closing time. Came home to find I wasn't given the repeats for the script. Still 10min before closing time, I called hoping I could talk to someone about keeping it aside for me to collect tomorrow. No one answered, I called several times and sat on hold for 5 mins after closing time just incase.
I get that they're busy, I understand they're trying to wrap up customers and get home. But the conversation would have been no longer than 30 seconds and it would have been all sweet.
But if the job was done properly, I would have gotten the repeat script and I wouldnt be here...

Very disappointed. Went in my lunch to get a script filled. Didn't get the script filled. Left with no script and no time left for lunch. Absolutely appalling customer service. No one at the counter to service customers. The line was building but no one at the counter to serve us. One by one people leaving the line. 39 mins later a person finally appeared at the counter. I heard the customer say another 20 minute wait for my medication. I had no more time I had to leave. If this is happening on a daily basis I seriously suggest management hire more staff or maybe there's a reason no one wants to work there. Anyway I certainly won't be going back for my medication there ever. A 1 is really not sufficient if I could I'd give a -5.

Shocking 20 minute wait to ask for otc Voltaren tablets. Another 20 minutes to "put a label on it" no staff serving. 4 staff members on floor, all ignoring line up at the back counters. 1 person at the checkouts.
Would hate to be sick and have to wait 40 minutes for a script

Would give zero stars if I could. Customer service is something that is non existent for them. They just don’t care at all & being rude is the only thing they excel at.

Great service helpful I have never had an issue even if I had to return a product because I made a mistake or change it over for something else.

Worst chemist I have ever experienced. Just discharged from hospital on a Saturday morning. Waited 1 and half hours for them to fill my scripts. I have a serious illness, and feeling nearly faint, I just wanted to lie down.That is just an unbelievable time for a very sick person to wait. Then to top it off, they charged me the wrong price for the medication

Perfume and fragrance is definitely a great deal here,prices are generally lower than major departments stores. The Medicine and stuff are very good and up to date. Items are located and distributed nicely for the customer to be able to find them easily. Sometimes you are unable to find them but the staffs are happy to assist you
