I just went to your Gisborne store on 27th December '24 and was assisted by "Emma" I needed a knee brace and had no luck in other Chemist shops .
She listened to then discussed what I need she explained what she thought would be the best for me... when I put it on it gave me the support I need .. It felt so much better walking out the store... Thank you Emma you excellent assistance. 😊

After getting my prescription at Gisborne I told the woman I didn’t need the little basket because I had a bag with other products in it and didn’t want to have both hands full and got accused of attempting to steal the products even though I was in the checkout line made me feel like a criminal so I emptied the bag and left, so be careful of the staff at Gisborne

I've only ever had good experiences going to this pharmacy. The staff are so accomodating and helpful, especially Henryka who is very professional and friendly. She takes the time to explain the medication and how to administer it. Such a wonderful assett to the pharmacy.

Pharmacist by the name of Henrika with red hair refused to help with medication. We encountered a very sour, rude and unhelpful attitude .I suggest going elsewhere for medications.

Pretty unimpressed with this store. Other CW's I've been to are much better. Went here a few times for a simple script to be filled, first time was a twenty minute wait, next time was a twenty-three minute wait, next time was a thirty-one minute wait. I enquired as to how to cut down on the wait time, (I had watched numerous people come in after me and get their scripts and leave, I was still standing in the same spot waiting, name never called, script had apparently been sitting there for ages but nobody could be bothered). I was told that it was my fault for not getting a buzzer, was told "we're pretty good you know", I then held up the buzzer they'd given me and she made more excuses. OK, I completely accept that they are good for other customers (so they claim), but sadly I can't agree.

Staff are very bored and unhappy looking (but only to me, maybe others have a great time there). What is it they say about a fish rotting from the head down?

Fortunately there are loads of chemists to choose from.

Cannot speak high enough of staff, especially Fred & Sarah. Their expertise & their effort to know more about my on going challenges makes their service exceptional. Post HTX & other major illnesses, I know I am safe in their hands with medications specifically for and not for me and my illnesses. All staff are efficient, friendly and consistently support and assist when required. Polite and efficient friendly service.
