I (female) went in there today with myself being sick and my little girl being as sick as a dog. They checked her throat and our blood pressures.
Gave her a panadol and then had us wait 45 minutes at the second stage to be told nothing except take a test later and treat it sytematically
How di you treat somehting systematically if you dont know what you have. I'd also previously complained to the nurse (stage 1) about a severe gut pain on my lower right side and I didn't even get that checked. Not happy. We came home and tested positive for Influenza A. Both of us. Nice one!! They couldn't even test us in there. The receptionist was lovely through!

Usually only 1 doctor available, few times I've come and there hasn't been a doctor on so I had to see one of the GP at the practice connected to the urgent care. Usually have to wait upwards of 3 hours. Hopefully they get more funding to have some extra doctors available as there is usually 10+ people waiting at most times.

After being left in the waiting room at CDH, I took my mum home and rang her GP rooms who were booked out. The receptionist advised me to attend Cessnock's Medicare urgent treatment clinic. The triage staff was quick to act and got Vicky urgently. It took Vicky less than 3 seconds to identify that my mother was septic and should be in hospital. As for our previous experience, the triage nurse and the ambulance officer failed to identify sepsis in a critically ill person.

I can't thank the team at Cessnock Urgent Care Clinic enough. Bringing a distressed 3-year-old in with a head wound can be stressful, but the staff were amazing. They were so calm, patient, caring, and kind, which made all the difference. We were seen promptly, and the whole process was efficient. 5 stars without a doubt!

I presented here with an infected sliced wrist with torn stitches and got told by reception that they aren't there for that. Another 2 occasions have taken my 14yr old daughter here for emergency and got told by reception they aren't taking anymore patients. Contacted local member and he said nothing would be done cause he's had good reviews. Make ur own mind up

I couldn't be more happy with the cessnock team at Medicare urgent care clinic. Dr Leicluogel was absolutely amazing. He showed more concern for my daughter than ANY other doctor I have been to or seen. The front desk/triage ladies Victoria and Tanya were so amaing they made me feel calm and welcomed. I could not have asked for a better experience especially considering my circumstances, and the time we showed up.
Thank you again too the team. You are all amazing people ❤️

Went to urgent care for the first time today when I was unable to get an urgent appointment for my son.. I couldn’t believe how quick we were tended to and how lovely and caring the doctors are nurses were. The pharmacy attached was very convenient. What a fantastic government initiative that seems to be working well.. Thank you Urgent Care

Went there on short notice right before close they made sure that I had been seen and helped before close even when I couldn’t get the right treatment there arfter I had left they rang and referred me to certain places for the best quickest results. Great staff
